Lu Zhiyu could see that after he had set the gene template for the first cell, the Deified Cells in his brain had loaded a supernatural ability that controlled information.

Once all the Deified Cells had finished loading, Lu Zhiyu immediately felt a change in his Thought Space. His ability to control the four-dimensional space had become completely different.

The countless cells could now control vast amounts of information at any time, modifying and adjusting the entire Thought Space. Perhaps it could no longer be called a Thought Space. It was a Dream Space!

Lu Zhiyu stood in the Dream Space. The entire world was pitch-black, with no up or down, left or right, no time, and no matter. At a single thought, he could see the whole world changing as he wished.

The ground spread out little by little from beneath Lu Zhiyu's feet. He watched as land appeared under him, and then, as far as his eyes could see, buildings slowly emerged in the Dream Space, as if woven from threads.

An ancient town gradually took shape in Lu Zhiyu's Dream Space. He looked up at the sky, where a red moon came into view. At last, a faint light fell over the world. But the blood-red moon lent the whole town an eerie, sinister quality!

Lu Zhiyu felt that creating anything more would be difficult. The amount of information his mental power could control had reached its limit. To expand the Dream World and make it more lifelike and vivid, he would need more mental power.

"So it really is possible. I've created a world made purely of information—a Dream Space. I did it!"

Lu Zhiyu was excited. Although the Dream World he had created was pitifully small and made up only of information, it was worlds apart from the Maria World he had created before. There was no comparison at all!

But this was a world Lu Zhiyu had created himself, without relying on any external force. He knew how he had made it, understood its principles and structure, and knew everything about it. He hadn't relied on the Universe Scroll or his control privileges. The significance was entirely different!

Lu Zhiyu walked through the town in the Dream World. There wasn't a single person anywhere. The town lay silent in the night. It looked ancient, with old wooden houses and compacted dirt roads. There was only one street in the whole town; the rest consisted of farmhouses with courtyards.

Along the street stood a dilapidated tavern, a blacksmith's shop, and a general store. The smithy was fully equipped, with an array of farm tools and kitchen knives hanging inside. The general store was stocked with all kinds of daily necessities, while the tavern's kitchen was full of food and its cellar was crammed with barrels of wine.

But there wasn't a single person in the entire world. This was Lu Zhiyu's Dream World, a world in its earliest stages of formation.

Lu Zhiyu wandered aimlessly through the Dream World, taking in his world bit by bit. The dirt beneath his feet felt exactly like the real thing, and the buildings even smelled of wood. The food was just like food in the real world, too.

Everything here had been brought to life from information about the real world. Though it wasn't real, on the level of information, it was exactly the same. In this world, you could never tell where reality ended and illusion began!

"It's a little monotonous, and too small. But if it's possible, then my guess and ideas must be right. I'm on the right track!"

As he walked, Lu Zhiyu considered, "There's still a lot I can improve. The Deified Cells have only loaded the ability to control information so far. I still need to develop an ability to affect the outside world and draw other intelligent beings' consciousness into the Dream World. Otherwise, the Dream World by itself won't be much use!"

Lu Zhiyu immediately made a note of it. The genes couldn't just grant him the ability to control information; they also needed the ability to assimilate information, assimilating others and drawing them into his Dream Space without anyone noticing. An attack on the level of information would be extremely difficult to guard against.

Lu Zhiyu left the Dream World, and his consciousness took control of his body again. He stood up in the library of the Space Castle, designed a gene for information assimilation, and loaded it into himself. With that, Lu Zhiyu's dream-control ability was more or less complete. It was also his first supernatural ability.

But this was only the first step. Lu Zhiyu still had a very long road ahead. Loading gene fragments one by one would eventually form a perfect life template. He would have to find a way to create a life template for his own mythical creature.

It had taken Lu Zhiyu several months to create Sakun after entering the Universe Scroll, and several more months to study and observe him. A year had passed. Developing the information-control gene, testing the dream-control cells, and finally perfecting them had taken him more than another year. In the blink of an eye, Lu Zhiyu had spent over two years in the Maria World.

Lu Zhiyu sat in a chair reading. Suddenly, he closed his eyes, and the whole world darkened. In his world of consciousness, he immediately sensed six Ant-Men within two hundred square meters.

"Dream World, activate!"

Lu Zhiyu watched as a wave of information spread outward. His mental power surged, immediately drawing the consciousnesses of the six Ant-Men into the Dream Space.

Several more white points of light appeared in the town. Beneath the blood moon, they stood in the street, moving about in confusion, unaware of what was happening.

The Ant-Men's consciousnesses were very weak. In the Dream Space, they couldn't even manifest basic forms. Lu Zhiyu could sense their confusion. These Ant-Men were unintelligent and didn't know fear; they could only wonder why they had suddenly come here!

Lu Zhiyu released his dream control, and the Ant-Men's consciousnesses immediately returned to their bodies. He stood up. It seemed the supernatural ability he had developed, dream control, had worked very well. But he had only tested it on Ant-Men. He needed to find some powerful creatures and try it out on them!

"The flow of time seems to have slowed again!"

Ever since Lu Zhiyu had created Sakun, the flow of time in the entire Maria World had been affected once more. The world seemed to have become even more complete. Lu Zhiyu could sense that the flow of time, which had originally been four thousand times faster, had dropped to less than three thousand times faster. One day on Earth now equaled about eight years in the Maria World!

Lu Zhiyu hadn't expected the appearance of a mythical creature to affect the world so profoundly. He hadn't observed the changes in the Maria World for quite some time. Now he discovered that the seas of the Maria World were home to large numbers of gigantic creatures and groups of sea monsters. Most of these strange creatures had come into being because of Sakun!

Lu Zhiyu prepared to set out and capture Sakun. First, he wanted to test his newly developed supernatural ability, dream control, and see whether it could do what he suspected and deal with mythical creatures!
