Medical Apprentice and Mountain Rescue

Xiao Yi Xian was an apprentice at the Myriad Herb Pavilion in Qingshan Town. During a herb-gathering expedition, her temporary mercenary squad discovered a rare Three-Colored Ghost Orchid guarded by a Tier 3 Rock Armor Lizard. Two members of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group betrayed the expedition, killing her companions and leaving her in mortal danger 17.

Lin Chen found her fleeing near a cliff with a deep abdominal wound and severe blood loss. He killed the pursuing lizard with one kick, caught her as she collapsed, and carried her into a concealed cave. There, he cleaned and bandaged her wound, administered a Grade 2 healing pill, and used purified life essence from the beast to accelerate her recovery 16.

During the following days, she gathered herbs while Lin Chen hunted magical beasts. She prepared their meals with collected spices, and an unspoken rapport developed between them. He subsequently took her to confront the Wolf Head Mercenary Group and wiped it out in retaliation for the betrayal 17 18.

Discovery of the Woe Poison Body

After returning her to Qingshan Town, Lin Chen gave Xiao Yi Xian the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture. Its description of the Woe Poison Body revealed the nature of her constitution—and the possibility that accumulated toxins would eventually kill her and devastate her surroundings. She broke down in fear and despair 18.

Protection and Poison-Body Mastery

Xiao Yi Xian continued cultivating with poison-control instructions and medicinal support from Lin Chen. She accompanied him to Black Rock City and the imperial capital, where the Mite’er Family received her and Qing Lin as honored guests 23 32 33.

Her constitution also attracted hostile attention. Acting on Soul Hall orders, the Misty Cloud Sect attempted to capture her and Qing Lin for their special constitutions. Lin Chen returned in time to stop the attack and learned its origin through a soul search 39.

The decisive solution came when Lin Chen obtained the Nether Poison Fire. Back at the Mite’er estate, he transferred purified flame essence into Xiao Yi Xian while protecting her heart and major meridians with Red Lotus Karma Fire. She endured the dangerous fusion, brought her poison Dou Qi under control, and advanced from Dou Master to peak Dou Ling 45.

Central Plains and East Dragon Island

Xiao Yi Xian followed Lin Chen to the Central Plains despite her nervousness about the unfamiliar region. He later settled her and Qing Lin in a Pill Tower residence, left pills intended to support their advancement to Dou King, and entrusted their care to Skyfire Venerable 46 47 49.

When Lin Chen judged the Pill Tower insufficiently secure against the Soul Hall, he moved her, Qing Lin, and Medusa to East Dragon Island. Ascension and Marriage

Before leaving the Dou Qi Continent, Lin Chen assured Xiao Yi Xian that she no longer needed to fear her constitution. He left enough medicinal pills to support her cultivation toward the peak of Dou Sheng and promised to reunite with his companions 81.
