En Sabah Nur was a Level Five Mutant. Over his long life, he had seized the powers of many Mutants, one of which was an ability like Wolverine's—constant regeneration. His vitality was immense, so even after Luo Xia had cut off his head, he had not died completely.
However, En Sabah Nur was not powerful enough to regrow his body from just a head, so he had remained in a state of suspended-death hibernation. Luo Xia had not expected the severed head to be of any use, but turning it into a machine now made it perfect for running this laboratory researching gods.
The formerly gray-blue head turned silvery white. En Sabah Nur's features could still be seen, and the mechanical head even retained his memories. But after being remade by the power of the AllSpark, the head had become Luo Xia's absolute puppet.
"Do you understand your task?" Luo Xia asked En Sabah Nur.
"I understand. Remain here, use this creature for experiments, determine whether it can live forever, analyze its energy characteristics, and attempt to control and replicate this energy," En Sabah Nur answered.
"Very good. You may use these marine creatures as materials for the immortality experiments. I will probably return in a hundred years."
After leaving those words behind, Luo Xia tore open space and departed the laboratory, leaving only a metal head floating there.
After Luo Xia left, countless metal wires extended from En Sabah Nur's neck and connected to the laboratory's central computer.
"Charge me. I need a new body to complete the experiments."
