Background / History

Beibei is Mu En’s great-grandson. He awakened the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial soul alongside Lin Ming, but initially felt his own achievement pale beside Lin Ming’s twin martial souls. Before becoming close with Lin Ming, he was notably melancholy; their friendship helped him become happier and more outgoing. 1 4 9

After obtaining his first soul ring, Beibei challenged Lin Ming to prove that ring age and soul power were not everything. Lin Ming decisively defeated him by exploiting Beibei’s lack of combat discipline, an experience that pushed Beibei toward more serious cultivation. 4 5

Six years later, Beibei entered Shrek’s Outer Court in the same class and dormitory as Lin Ming. He became Class 1’s vice-monitor after defeating two challengers, then joined Lin Ming and Tang Ya in winning the freshman assessment championship.
