Background / History

Victoria was eight years old when she was struck by a dark mage's Soul Spear after discovering intruders searching her family home for an unknown treasure. The soul trauma triggered an extremely rare three-element mutation involving Light, Life, and Water. Olivier recognized the mutation, concealed its nature for her protection, and remained near her home while she recovered. 28 29

After awakening thirteen days later, Victoria accepted Olivier as her master. She wished to learn magic while continuing to care for her mother and brother, Hank; Olivier specifically arranged her apprenticeship so she could remain with her family. Catherine later became her second God-level master and taught her the Laws of Life. 30 32

Olivier directed her early development toward fusing her three elemental magics rather than merely accumulating magical power. Victoria tested her healing magic by treating everyone from nobles to beggars, gaining a reputation for inexpensive or free treatment. Her healing and compassion earned her the title Saintess of Yulan, later formally conferred by the Yulan Emperor. 33
