"Sir~~"

Paul's voice was choked with sobs; at that moment, his expression was contorted, and he was utterly devastated.

"Awooo!"

The Werewolf, however, paid no heed to any of that. Seeing the two figures enter its attack range, it launched an attack without hesitation.

With a Sturdy push of its hind legs, it lunges forward, its sharp claws capable of tearing apart the bodies of any living creature.

Moreover, its fangs and claws are afflicted with dark curses that can spread plagues and diseases!

When!

The wolf's claws struck a shield made of bones, leaving a deep groove.

"Don't be nervous..."

Sean called out, "Big dog, your fur looks pretty much the same, it's normal to mistake one for a wolf... Don't be angry!"

He's now actually a third-tier [Necromancer].

To rise from elite to expert level in about a year is already a very talented achievement.

Ordinary Werewolf are equivalent to first or second-tier extraordinary beings, and are no match for Sean at all.

"Bone Cage!"

As Sean gestured for Paul to step back, he pointed to the rotting ground.

Pfft!

White thigh bones, growing out like bean sprouts, formed a huge Bone Cage, trapping the Werewolf inside.

"Weakness!"

As the Werewolf frantically pulled and tore at the bone fence, Sean didn't hesitate to cast a Weakness Curse on the Werewolf, finally slowing down its actions.

"Okay, big dog, I didn't mean any harm."

Sean stepped forward, pulled out a black hardcover notebook and a pen. "Tell me, how's your life been lately? How's your mental state? Have you attacked any humans?"

"Sir?"

Paul, carrying his revolver, slowly stepped forward.

He felt a surge of joy; it turned out his superior was so capable, proving that most of the rumors were just lies.

At this moment, they aimed at the Werewolf's head.

"Don't kill it... Although Werewolf are typical dark creatures, there's a pack of them here. Killing one will attract a whole bunch, or maybe more."

Sean, with his experience, stopped Paul: "Besides... the skin and teeth of these big dogs are hard to sell; those unscrupulous merchants offer very low prices..."

I think I've heard something terrible. Will the officer kill me to keep quiet?

Paul straightened up and pretended not to have heard anything.

"Okay, open your mouth, I need to see what's wrong with the blood on your teeth..."

Sean forgot about the Black Market as soon as he finished talking about it, and asked Paul for help to subdue the Werewolf. He pried open its mouth and said with great experience, "Actually, wolves are like dogs. You can tell their recent condition from their teeth... Hmm, give it a full body check later, don't miss any private parts."

"Ouch..."

The Werewolf let out a low, mournful howl.

Paul, on the other hand, had a dark expression on his face, wishing he could just shoot the Werewolf dead and hand the body over to the forensic doctor in the back for examination.

"Awooo!"

"Awooo!"

Just then, various low growls echoed from the surrounding dense forest.

"Wolf... Werewolf..."

Paul's jaw clenched as he stared at the many emerald green and scarlet pupils that had suddenly appeared in the forest, his voice trembling.

"Oh dear... this is really troublesome..."

Sean scratched his head. "I can't handle so many Werewolf by myself... Paul... do you have any last words?"

"Sir... why do you say that?"

Paul looked like he was about to cry.

"Because, based on experience, my chances of escaping are greater than yours..." Sean replied seriously.

One by one, Werewolf emerged from the forest, but they did not attack.

Immediately, a huge wolf leaped out, transforming into a half-human, half-wolf form. "Sean?"

"Oh! My friend!"

Sean stepped forward and said to Paul with delight, "This is the big dog I rescued, there's no mistake."

"If you ever call my ancestral form a dog again, I'll kill you!"

The Werewolf made a deep, muffled sound, speaking in the Common Hebraic, but in a rigid and stiff manner.

"Haha... just kidding! So what should I call you? Sausage? Bully?"

Paul seemed to see the Werewolf's eyes turn crimson for a moment, then slowly return to a ghostly green. "Woll! You can call me Woll!"

"Well then, Mr. Woll..."

Sean cleared his throat, his expression suddenly turning serious. "As an investigator for the Emerald Great Forest from the Bureau 11, I demand that you answer why your clan has been expanding outwards recently and attacking humans."

"We are not expanding, we are... fleeing!"

Woll twisted his neck and explained amidst the low growls of his companions around him.

"Escape?"

Sean was taken aback.

"There is a group of humans, what you call professionals, who are hunting us on a large scale..." Woll said.

"Is an organized group hunting Werewolf?"

Sean's pupils contracted. "What's the purpose? A ritual? Collecting materials?"

"I don't know... but my people dislike you... because many of those enemies are like you, using curses and Necro-Spirit, able to use the power of bones to create shields and cages."

Woll continued.

"What?"

Sean's pupils contracted. "The Black Death Society? It really is them?"

His [Doom-Bringer] class was also obtained by the Bureau 11 from the Black Death Society, but it was incomplete.

"Black Death Society?"

"We, the Bloodfang Clan, will never let them get away with this!" Woll roared.

"Alright, alright... guys, I think you guys need help... trust me, there are Nature Reserve in many places in the Federation now, I think you could have one too..."

Sean raised his hands, simultaneously releasing the Werewolf from its restraints.

"Awooo!"

The opponent bared its fangs and claws, ready to attack, but was held firmly by Woll: "We Werewolf warriors do not yield to anyone. You can leave now... If you ever step into the forest again, you will be considered my enemy."

"Really... okay!"

Sean took a few steps back and gestured for Paul to leave.

Anyway, their main purpose in coming here this time is to investigate the mission; future actions can be decided after the report is submitted.

Pfft!

But the next moment, something unexpected happened!

Bone spikes, made of white bone, shot out densely from the darkness, wounding countless Werewolf.

A group of Black Death Cultist dressed in black robes and bearing the Black Death Society emblem suddenly appeared and attacked the Werewolf!

"They're from the Black Death Society!"

Sean hid behind a large tree, his expression serious.

"Sir... I think I can write my will now."

Paul raised his hand, shot a Death Cultist to the ground, and said with a sarcastic remark.

The next moment, the scene fell Silence.

Sean looked over in confusion and saw a delicate and exquisite girl, as beautiful as a porcelain doll.

Her skin was rosy and radiant. Wherever she went, Werewolf would collapse in disorientation. Even Woll could only lie numb on the ground, weakly scratching at the soil with his claws.

The girl's gaze seemed to possess a power that struck straight to the heart, leaving one feeling weak and unwilling to resist.

"Oh no... it's a master-level professional!"

Sean's heart sank as his eyes met those of the girl.
