"My head is so dizzy..."

Sean looked up and found himself bound to a pillar, with a cavern in front of him.

"Underground... what... what happened to me?"

His head was throbbing, and he felt as if his spiritual energy was completely depleted, rendering him unable to use any of his supernatural powers.

"Oh, right... I was conducting Werewolf investigation in the Emerald Forest, and that's when I encountered that woman..."

Sean muttered to himself.

Only then did he realize that he seemed to be on the edge of an altar.

Many black stone pillars stand tall, most of them with a Werewolf bound to them.

And next to him was Paul.

"A fourth-tier professional... is indeed very strong..."

Sean looked around and finally spotted the girl again.

She stood in the center of the ceremony, dressed in a pure white dress, with a dripping Obsidian Dagger in her hand.

More importantly, that face now looked somewhat familiar, as if I had seen it somewhere before.

As he watched, the girl easily slit the throat of a Werewolf with Obsidian Dagger.

Glug glug!

Blood splattered and fell into the ritual track on the ground, but the girl remained calm as she walked toward the next victim.

"Let me think..." Sean sniffed. "This incense and ritual... the Black Death Society! This is Black Death Society sacrifice ritual! We are all sacrifices!"

The number of prisoners who were bound was difficult to estimate.

Furthermore, most of them are professionals or extraordinary beings!

The scale of the sacrifice caused Sean to break out in a cold sweat. "I understand! You want to use Werewolf race of extraordinary beings, to replace large-scale human sacrifices, because they live in dense forests, and even if an entire clan is wiped out, it will be difficult to attract the Federation's attention... The Black Death Society... You really are the mastermind behind all of this!"

As he spoke, the girl killed several more Werewolf.

To Sean's surprise, the other person's aura seemed to have become a little deeper.

Finally, the girl stood before Sean.

That strikingly beautiful face only fueled Sean's suspicions.

Immediately, his eyes lit up. "I remember now, you're Beatrice!"

After all, they were just ordinary college classmates. If it weren't for Sulu, Sean probably wouldn't even remember this name.

Besides, so many years have passed since graduation, and Beatrice has undergone drastic changes; it would be abnormal for Sean to recognize her immediately.

"Beatrice? Indeed... that's my name."

Beatrice's green eyes fixed on Sean, a slight smirk playing on her lips. "I remember you too... that person's friend, Sean! You will be sacrificed to the Dominator of Death!"

"Depend on!"

Sean rolled his eyes. "I thought you'd let me off the hook because we're old classmates..."

He glanced discreetly at the Obsidian Dagger in Beatrice's hand, then quickly changed the subject. "You joined the Black Death Society? I must say, that was a terrible decision... I'm a Federation civil servant now, with a retirement plan... Cults certainly don't offer that, right? My job is still better than yours."

Beatrice remained unmoved and raised her dagger.

"Wait a minute... With so many transcendent beings being sacrificed, what are you trying to do?" Sean shouted. "Perform an evil ritual, curse your enemies, or seek your own advancement?"

"Death... can increase my power."

Beatrice looked at her palm. "You should feel honored to be a part of my power... However, you are still somewhat useful..."

She dropped the dagger.

Puff!

Hot blood splattered all over Sean's face.

He opened his eyes and realized that he wasn't the one who had been stabbed, but Paul next to him.

"Well... he ultimately forgot to write his will, poor little guy..."

Sean made a mocking remark, but his expression turned cold. "Beatrice... why have you become like this?"

"Isn't it good that it's become like this?"

Beatrice was also splattered with blood, but her smile remained innocent and naive.

Angel and devils, contradictory yet harmoniously unified, resided within her.

"And... tell me, where is Sulu?"

Her next question made Sean's pupils widen, "What... what are you asking?"

"Sulu Potter! Even when he was hiding from me before, I could still occasionally sense his presence in this world... But this year, it seems like he has truly vanished from the world."

A look of confusion appeared on Beatrice's face.

"What do you want with him?" Sean thought to himself, cursing his roommate inwardly, while simultaneously concocting a melodramatic story for the two of them that could be serialized in the Federation newspaper.

"Find him, kill him!" Beatrice answered matter-of-factly.

"Okay..." Sean rolled his eyes, feeling utterly hopeless about the world. "Sorry... I don't know either. The Bureau 11's regulations are very strict, there aren't many holidays. I haven't seen him since we parted ways in Nia City ..."

They had actually met, but Sulu concealed his identity, so Sean was unaware of it.

"That's a real shame... It seems you don't hold a very important place in his heart, not even worth being a hostage..."

Beatrice sighed, "Then become a part of my power!"

She drew her blood-stained Obsidian Dagger and raised it again.

"You're doomed!"

Sean closed his eyes and began to pray silently.

The expected pain did not come the next moment.

"Finally found it."

Instead, a very familiar voice echoed in my ears.

Sean opened his eyes and found a blond young man with dark eyes standing beside him, a warm smile on his lips.

"Sulu? Your eyes?"

Sean felt like he was dreaming. "Wait... how did you suddenly appear? Am I dreaming?"

"Long time no see, Beatrice!"

Sulu ignored Sean and turned to look at Beatrice.

He concealed his information in order to surprise Beatrice and resolve the mistake he made in the beginning!

A Pentagram mark appeared on his forehead.

Buzz!

As if in resonance, a similar symbol struggled to emerge on Beatrice's forehead, only one representing the master and the other the servant.

"Submit to me!"

Sulu spoke slowly in a low voice.

Beatrice's face was full of struggle, but she still slowly knelt down on one knee, seemingly to show her submission.

"Huh? What's going on?" Sean was completely bewildered. This fourth-tier professional had actually knelt down in front of Sulu with just one sentence?

"Fifth... fifth rank?"

Beatrice stubbornly raised her head, her eyes filled with disbelief.

The Master-Servant Pact is inherently advantageous to the master, especially given that Sulu's rank is higher than Beatrice's. If he were to suddenly attack and appear before her, suppressing him would be effortless.
