As for the Medium's blood, it was a mysterious material to begin with. It could drive away spirits or harm certain kinds of them.
"There's still time. I'd better get back to work!"
The next day, Sulu returned to the inn where he was staying and began tallying his gains.
To be honest, finding a Wandering Soul on the verge of becoming an Evil Spirit took a lot of luck. He'd been busy all night, yet his Experience Points had only gone up by 40.
"But at least I've reached 100. I can upgrade one of my Medium abilities... Of course, not Spirit Pressure!"
His Spirit Pressure had already reached LV2, and upgrading it would require more Experience Points.
Sulu stared at Soul Projection and Spirit Spike, unable to decide.
"Clearly, Soul Projection is the Medium's signature skill. Mediums deal with spirits and the Spirit World... But upgrading Spirit Spike would give me an immediate boost in combat power. Right now, I need strength more!"
With that thought, Sulu stopped hesitating. "Upgrade Spirit Spike!"
