The next instant, a bolt of lightning split the sky and earth, striking the person in the distance with his hand raised. A blinding flash exploded.
"Holy shit!" The photographer nearly threw his camera away.
"Oh my God!" The female host was badly frightened too, stumbling several steps back.
Yet the lightning did not stop. Bolt after bolt crashed down, all concentrated around that person.
The photographer blurted out, "He's got to have been blasted to bits by now, right?"
The female host muttered, "What kind of horrible things did he do?"
Of course, their voices were swallowed by the wind, rain, and thunder. Though they stood right beside each other, neither heard the other.
