And though that string of attacks and defenses had seemed lengthy, it had actually taken only a few seconds. The previously invincible Raichu had been kicked into ashes in an instant! He had died so quickly that they had not even had time to react.

Of course, on the bright side, if they had stepped up to take that kick, they probably would have died even faster than Raichu.

Amid the collapsed mountain range, Gudora spoke up to "steady morale."

"That human on the other side has already been reduced to ashes, and Otake-maru is severely injured. The advantage is ours!"

That made sense.

The crucial point now was that Otake-maru was gravely wounded. He most likely could no longer combine the three divine swords; Suzuka Gozen and Tenma Nozomi had also expended a great deal of strength. Meanwhile, their side still had Lord Rayquaza, Lord Kyogre, and Lord Gudora, along with numerous rare beasts who remained in fairly good condition. They truly held the advantage.
