Hagrid and Professor Oren

The last exam was on the History of Magic, which was destined to be the most tedious hour.

Kyle wrote the 1637 Werewolf Code of Conduct and the biography of the Uric the Oddball in just twenty minutes.

When Professor Binns ' ghost told them to put down their quills and roll up their parchment, all the students couldn't help but cheer.

The exams are over, which means they can relax and play for a whole week until the results are released.

"It was much easier than I originally thought."

As they joined the crowd outside into the sunny field, Mikel confidently declared, "I just saw the Uric the Oddball a few days ago. He graduated from Gryffindor, so there's no mistake."

"Gryffindor ..." Ryan paused, then blurted out, "Isn't it Slytherin?"

"What a pity," Mikel said regretfully. "If I'm not mistaken, it was Gryffindor."

"Merlin's beard ..." Ryan said, clutching his hair in anguish, "I should have never remembered those wizards who invented the automatic cauldron."

Mikel patted him on the shoulder, comforting him, "It's okay, it's just a mistake about one college, it won't cost you many points."

Kyle was deeply moved by the way the two of them loved each other. This kind of pure friendship between classmates can be said to be the most precious treasure in everyone's life.

To further their relationship, Kyle quietly walked over and whispered in their ears, "Actually... the Uric the Oddball graduated from Ravenclaw."

Mikel looked up, completely bewildered.

"It's true," Kyle smiled. "It's clearly written in the third line of Chapter Two, or you can ask the Ravenclaw; they shouldn't be mistaken."

Mikel turned stiffly and found a group of Ravenclaw students in the crowd... He actually went to ask them.

A minute later, Mikel squatted down next to Ryan and also started grabbing his hair.

"It's alright," Kyle patted him on the shoulder and said, "It's just a mistake about one college, it won't cost you many points."

After saying goodbye to his two withdrawn roommates, Kyle slowly walked down the slope to the lake.

There, a Giant Squid lay sunbathing in the warm, shallow water, while Fred and George gently stroked its tentacles.

Kyle couldn't help but swallow hard. Those squid tentacles, grilled on a hot plate and sprinkled with cumin and chili powder... they would be absolutely delicious.

"Plop..."

No, I can't watch anymore.

Kyle shook his head and looked away.

Not far away, Kanna sat under a tree, hugging her knees, staring blankly at Pochi, who was sunbathing on the grass. However, she didn't seem very interested, and there was no joy on her face as if the exam was over.

"What's wrong? Did you not do well on the test?" Kyle walked over and asked.

Kanna was startled, but after regaining her senses, she shook her head and said, "No, I was just thinking about something else."

She stroked Pochi's tail with her fingers and asked softly, "After the exams, will this semester be over?"

"Seven days left."

Kyle sat down next to her and said, "We won't have a break until the exam results come out. By September, we'll be second year."

Kanna murmured to herself, "Seven days..."

What are you talking about?

Just then, the Weasley brothers walked over. Fred, seeing Kanna's sullen expression, smiled and said, "Cheer up! We'll find out how badly you did in a week. There's no need to worry about it now."

"Exactly," George said. "This is the happiest time of the year. No exams, no nagging, no homework. What could be better than this?"

"That's true." Kanna stood up from the ground, revealing a big smile.

Afterwards, Fred and George wanted to go to Hogsmeade through the secret passage.

Now that they have an extra hundred Galleon, there are so many things they want to buy... Honeydukes ' new candies, Three Broomsticks ' Butterbeer, they want to try them all.

And of course, most importantly... the fascinating joke props in Zonko's Joke Shop.

"We've decided to take the secret passage behind the mirror on the fourth floor."

Fred said mysteriously, "I guarantee Filch has absolutely no idea where that secret passage is."

"What about you guys? Are you coming along?" George asked.

Kyle nodded, and just as he was about to agree, an owl suddenly flew over from a distance and handed him a note.

Kyle took the note and glanced at it.

Dear Kyle:

I know you've finished your exams. Do you have time to come over? Fluffy seems to be sick lately.

--Hagrid.

Is Fluffy sick?

Kyle frowned, looked up and said, "Sorry, I have to go see Hagrid now; he needs to speak with me."

"Okay," Fred said, "Do you need us to bring some things back for you?"

"Honeydukes's candies," Kyle said. "Just pick the expensive ones."

"Ha, not a bad idea."

The Weasley brothers left with smiles on their faces.

"Aren't you coming along?" Kyle asked, looking at Kanna beside him.

Kanna shook her head. "No, I don't have anything I want to buy. It's nice to stay here and soak up the sun with Pochi."

"Sunbathing is so boring, how about... you come with me to Hagrid?"

Kyle glanced at the mouse named Pochi on the grass and suddenly said, "Remember Fluffy? He's sick. We can go see him."

"Can I come along too?" Kanna, somewhat tempted.

"Certainly."

Kanna had met Fluffy before, so taking her there wouldn't be a problem.

Seeing that Kyle had already walked down the grassy slope, Kanna quickly put Pochi into her pocket and hurried after him.

When the two crossed the area and arrived at Hagrid's cabin, they were surprised to find that there were other people there.

"Professor Oren?" Kyle looked at Oren standing in front of Hagrid's door and asked in confusion, "Are you here to see Hagrid too?"

"Pretty much, but to be precise, I was waiting for you... guys." Professor Oren explained, "Hagrid just wrote to me saying that Fluffy is sick and asked if I knew of any cures for Fantastic Beasts, so I came over."

"You know Fluffy too?" Kyle asked.

"Yes, I know, Three-headed Dog ..." Professor Oren said with a smile, "He told me about it when I was drinking with Hagrid that day. It scared me to death. I never thought he would dare to keep such a dangerous Fantastic Beasts by his side."

Drinking... well, Hagrid really can't keep any secrets after drinking.

"Where's Hagrid? Is he in his room?"

Kyle looked into the cabin; it was empty and didn't look like anyone was there.

"Oh, I almost forgot about the important matter." Professor Oren slapped his forehead and said, "I saw Hagrid was in a hurry, so I sent him to the Forbidden Forest to check on Fluffy. I'll stay here and wait for you."

"Come, children, I'll take you there now."
