A group of people worked together and completed all the necessary preparations in just half a day.

The two books that could explode were placed on the fifth and sixth floors, directly above the corner corridor, at just the right distance to lure Filch there at any time.

Everything is ready.

But shortly after the group decided to go on a nighttime adventure to the fourth floor, an unexpected situation arose.

Several upperclassmen from Gryffindor didn't even wait until curfew; they sneaked up to the fourth floor while everyone else was having dinner.

Unlike the Weasley brothers, however, they hadn't made any plans beforehand, nor did they have any strategic tools Marauder's Map; they just rushed there on a whim.

Needless to say, they were caught red-handed by Filch, who had been lying in wait nearby, before they could even open the door, and were taken to Professor McGonagall's office.

Before long, fifty points were missing from Gryffindor's hourglass.

But that's not all.

For a while afterward, people from Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff would sneak out of the common room and run to the fourth floor.

Fred and George, who were staring at the Marauder's Map, were dumbfounded. In the usually quiet corridor, names would suddenly pop up from time to time.

There were probably too many young wizards caught, so after a discussion, the professors decided to come out of their offices and take turns waiting for the students who were out at night near the fourth floor.

No matter who it is, once caught, they'll be subjected to a ten-year detention package.

It has to be said, the professor is much more troublesome than Filch...

George set off several magical fireworks that bloomed upon contact with water on the first floor in an attempt to distract them.

Unsurprisingly, Filch went downstairs grumbling after hearing the noise, with Professor McGonagall following behind him with a serious expression.

Near the stairs on the second floor, Fred, hidden in the shadows, looked at the Marauder's Map and sighed softly, "Professor McGonagall went too far."

On the map, Professor McGonagall's name was still near the fourth floor, and Filch was also going downstairs alone.

It was obvious that the Professor McGonagall they had just seen was an imposter; it must have been some kind of advanced Transfiguration.

Given the current situation, going on an expedition is probably not feasible. After discussing it, the group decided to wait until things calmed down before returning to their dormitories.

This wait lasted for three days.

Three nights later, four people stealthily appeared in the school corridor.

"Fred, George ..."

Cedric, walking at the very back, lowered his voice and asked, "Are you sure the professors aren't going to the fourth floor anymore?"

"We kept watch for a long time last night."

Fred whispered, "The professors haven't been to the fourth floor since the weekend, and today probably won't be an exception."

"We're almost there."

The group stopped near the third floor, and Qiao Qianzhi looked down at the Marauder's Map.

"We were lucky, none of the professors were around, Filch was too... Oh, Merlin, guess who I saw!"

"Who is it?" Fred said with a laugh. "It can't be Percy, can it?"

"It's not Percy, it's Ron ..." George said in surprise, "And Harry, Hermione, and Neville, those four freshmen are in the Trophy Room right now."

"Ah ha..." Fred couldn't help but chuckle, "Taking his friends out at night right after the start of the semester. Tsk, he really is our little brother..."

"Clang..."

Suddenly, a series of crisp impact sounds rang out.

It seemed someone had knocked over the armor in the corridor; the sound of the metal parts hitting the ground was very loud, especially in such a quiet environment, it sounded particularly jarring.

"Oh, damn it, they've been discovered!"

George looked up and said, "There are two pieces of news."

The good news is that Filch's attention is focused on Ron and his men, which presents a good opportunity for us to take action.

The bad news is that they've made too much of a commotion and could attract the professor's attention at any moment.

"Looks like we need to hurry."

Fred glanced at the map and quickened his pace toward the fourth floor.

On the map, Harry and Ron are moving rapidly in this direction; at this rate, Filch will soon be lured here.

After reaching the fourth floor, the group quickly followed the instructions on the Marauder's Map and arrived at a door at the end of the corridor.

"The students aren't sleeping!"

Just then, Peeves' angry roar suddenly came from not far away, "Students aren't sleeping, they're in the hallway of the Charms classroom!"

"I take back my previous opinion; Ron really is an idiot."

George put down the Marauder's Map and stretched his hand behind him.

Soon, a bronze key appeared out of thin air in his hand.

"Thank you, Kyle..."

George inserted the key into the lock and opened the door with a gentle turn.

"They're almost here, hurry up... Oh, damn it, what is this thing!"

Just as George was about to enter, he looked up and saw three pairs of bright, beady green eyes staring intently at him.

In the hallway behind the door was a monstrous dog; what he had just seen were the dog's eyes.

It has three heads and is so big that it fills the entire space from ceiling to floor.

After the door was opened, the large dog with three heads stood up, its three noses twitching and trembling as it looked towards them.

Three drooling mouths suddenly opened, revealing rows of hideous, yellowed dog teeth.

"Damn it, Dumbledore really didn't lie to us this time... Run!"

George didn't have time to think; he instinctively turned around and ran.

Fred and Cedric naturally saw what the Three-headed Dog looked like, and the moment it pounced, all their adventurousness and curiosity vanished.

They knew all too well what those deafening roars meant.

Without speaking or needing to communicate, the two quickly caught up with George and began running down the corridor.

Although doing so would likely be discovered, they would rather Filch Filch become dog food.

The three of them didn't turn their heads and ran until they reached the kitchen door before stopping.

"Headmaster Dumbledore is serious!"

"Merlin! He actually left a fully grown Three-headed Dog at the school! What's he planning to do?!" George gasped.

"I bet there's something hidden in there," Fred said, his eyes gleaming. "Did you notice? That dog is standing on top of a Trapdoor."

George sighed and said, "It's no use. You can't expect it to make way for us."

"Etc..."

At that moment, Cedric suddenly asked, "Has anyone seen Kyle?"

"Didn't he come back with us?" Fred was surprised, only then realizing that there were indeed only three people there.

Kyle disappeared sometime during the night.
