Late at night, in the quiet corridor, a figure dressed in a black robe slipped past Filch, who was on patrol, and quietly made his way to the fourth floor.

Since encountering the Dark Lord in Albania, Quirrell's previously unchanging life has undergone a dramatic transformation.

He had a new goal in life: to help the Dark Lord rise again.

If he succeeds, he can reach a position he never dared to dream of before.

For example, replacing Barty Crouch, who once looked down on him, as the new Department of Magical Law Enforcement, or even more daringly... Minister for Magic!

This is not impossible.

Although he wasn't one of the first Death Eaters to join, if he could successfully steal the Philosopher's Stone and help the Dark Lord resurrect, he could overtake them and become the biggest contributor.

Bellatrix and Sirius Black are famous, but what good is that?

Where were they when the Dark Lord needed help the most...? In Azkaban.

Now, only he can help the Dark Lord rise again: Quirinus Quirrell!

What right do those people have to compete with him? Is it because they were once the food supply for Dementor?

Furthermore, the Dark Lord promised that if anyone could help him resurrect, he would gain unparalleled power and countless riches.

And most importantly... immortality!

Looking at the dilapidated wooden door in front of him, Quirrell's face suddenly flushed an unnatural red.

Once you overcome the challenges set up by the professors here, power, wealth, status... will all be within your grasp!

Throughout the school year, he made numerous inquiries, both overt and covert, and had essentially learned about all the other levels except for Snape.

Even the most troublesome Three-headed Dog was dealt with by him using a dragon egg.

To be honest, this is not easy, because the Ministry of Magic has been conducting very strict inspections of Fantastic Beasts recently, since last year's Oren.

He practically emptied his savings, paying ten times the market price to buy the dragon egg from a Europe wizard.

Although I was ripped off, it was worth it to get the Philosopher's Stone, no matter how many Galleon I spent.

Now, Dumbledore has been tricked into going to London with a letter, Snape is also searching for the non-existent Death Eaters in the Forbidden Forest.

Everything was progressing according to his plan, and no one could stop him anymore!

Quirrell took out a huge harp and cast a spell to make it play soothing music, then tremblingly pushed open the door.

"Sleep well, everyone, have a good night's sleep..."

Quirrell, who had just opened the door, suddenly froze.

The room was completely empty; there wasn't even a single dog hair, let alone Three-headed Dog.

"Did I go to the wrong room?"

Quirrell retreated, puzzled, and looked around.

This is the place... He remembered the stone statue with the axe across the street; he couldn't be mistaken.

"Idiot, don't waste your time here!"

Suddenly, another person's voice came from inside Quirrell's body.

"Please forgive me, Master."

Quirrell dared not linger any longer and quickly went into the room.

But when he saw the Trapdoor that had no protection whatsoever, he suddenly felt a pang of heartache.

He'd saved up Galleon for over a decade... If he'd known this would happen, he shouldn't have bought that dragon egg.

"Hurry up!" Voldemort urged again, "What are you waiting for? Dumbledore could be back at any moment!"

Upon hearing Dumbledore's name, Quirrell shuddered and quickly opened the Trapdoor and jumped down.

He had investigated thoroughly and found that Sprout's Devil's Snare lay below, perfectly capable of holding him back.

Moreover, dealing with the Devil's Snare is quite simple; a simple Wand-Lighting Charm is all it takes.

Quirrell is very confident.

However...

"Thump!"

With a dull thud, Quirrell fell straight onto the hard floor.

"Ah... my legs... ah, my arms... my waist..."

Quirrell curled up on the floor, groaning in pain. The fall had been so hard that he felt a tearing pain all over his body.

"Damn it, Sprout dared to lie to me!" Quirrell roared inwardly.

Just as he was about to explain, he suddenly heard the Dark Lord's furious roar!

"Idiot, get up! Do you want to die here?!"

Quirrell instinctively looked up and realized there was a bunch of round things in front of him... they looked like cabbages?

Who would grow cabbages here? That's crazy.

Just as he was thinking this, the "cabbage" in front of him rolled forward a little, revealing a huge mouth full of sharp teeth!

Then came the second one... the third one...

Quirrell's face turned deathly pale instantly.

He remembered; these things were Biting Cabbage... a dangerous plant on par with Venomous Tentacula, two Biting Cabbage could kill an adult wizard if they were close enough.

And here, there are dozens of them...

At that moment, Quirrell felt as if he were experiencing the greatest malice in the world.

"Sprout... you're dead!"

"Aaaaaah!"

The next second, Quirrell's heart-wrenching screams echoed through the room.

The voice contained anger, resentment, and terror... it was extremely penetrating.

"Um?"

In the room at the far end, Kyle, who was studying the Mirror of Erised, suddenly looked up and asked in confusion, "Did you hear anything just now?"

No one responded.

That's normal, though, since besides him, the only other creature in the room was a Niffler looking in the mirror.

"What did you see...?" Kyle walked over and asked.

Niffler was startled and turned to look at Kyle in alarm, taking a few steps back and instinctively covering her pockets with her two little hands.

"That's going too far..." Kyle said, pursing his lips. "It's like I'm always stealing your things."

Niffler barked twice, looking very annoyed.

"Just that one time, okay? You still remember it now. Besides, you took someone else's things back then. I was just returning them to their rightful owner."

Niffler turned her head away, ignoring Kyle.

It was clearly the one that picked it up...

Looking at it, Kyle shook his head with amusement and said, "You've had enough fun, it's time to come back."

The scream he just heard must have been real; it looked like Quirrell... or rather Voldemort, would be here soon.

We can't let it stay outside any longer now.

However, Niffler didn't move, remaining in place and watching him warily.

"Don't worry, I won't take your things," Kyle said seriously. "Besides, a bad guy who eats Niffler sandwiches every day is coming here soon, and his favorite thing is a little Niffler like you who's not even a year old..."

Niffler's eyes widened instantly, and she darted into Kyle's arms, wading through the box and crawling inside.
