After learning that everyone else had already left, Kyle was about to pack his things and go home as well, but Nicolas Flamel shook his head and said:

"There's no need to come so early, Kyle. You can stay here a little longer if you want."

"And I heard from Albus that you also taught yourself alchemy and invented a very interesting little gadget."

It seems to be related to Quidditch, right? Can I take a look?

"It's possible... but I don't know if it counts as alchemy."

Kyle took a transparent snake-shaped bracelet from the Mokeskin Pouch, the same kind he had previously sold to Malfoy for one hundred Galleon.

After that, he received other orders, but only five in total.

After all, one hundred Galleon is a sum that even among Slytherin, few would spend that much money on a toy.

This is something he made ahead of time, intending to use it to develop new clients after the start of the school year.

And this is the only thing about him that is related to alchemy.

Nicolas took the bracelet, raising an eyebrow in surprise.

"To imbue a fixed object with a spell... without a doubt, that is alchemy."

"I think you must have read the book <Magical Creatures: Alteration and Fusion>."

Kyle nodded. "I found it by chance in the school library."

"That is indeed a good alchemy book," Nicolas said. "Although some of its ideas contradict mainstream alchemy, it's still good for beginners."

Nicolas gently stroked the bracelet and continued, "It's rare to see someone with such a good foundation. Even I could only find some minor flaws."

It seems you're quite interested in alchemy.

Kyle nodded without hesitation, "Yes."

At this point, one must be interested; one can't very well say that they learned alchemy to research Horcrux.

Kyle had no intention of studying in Nurmengard.

Moreover, as the creator of the Philosopher's Stone, Nicolas Flamel's achievements in alchemy were unimaginable to others.

Even if it's just a casual lesson on a whim, it would be an invaluable asset to Kyle.

"That's perfect. Come with me." Nicolas returned the bracelet to Kyle and led him to a circular room.

There was no furniture or decorations here; apart from a few tables, the rest of the room was filled with books.

The quantity is staggering.

Rows of huge bookshelves were neatly stacked together, stretching upwards from the ground as if there were no end in sight.

Nicolas Flamel pointed to the bookshelves and said, "There are quite a few books on alchemy here, as well as some notes from earlier years. You are welcome to take a look anytime if you are interested."

Kyle looked up at the towering book tower and asked incredulously, "Are all of these related to alchemy?"

"Of course not, only a very small portion."

Nicolas casually pulled a faded copy of the Tales of Beedle the Bard from the bookshelf beside him.

"If you want to see other things, you can find them here, whatever you like."

"It's like having a library in your house..." Kyle muttered to himself.

"Not really, it's more like my personal library."

Nicolas put the book back on the shelf. "I put all the books I collected in my early years here. At first, there were only a few bookshelves, but then there were more and more, and it gradually became like this."

This was only in the early years?

Kyle clicked his tongue. Even just what he saw in front of him was more than the entire Hogwarts Library...

However, Nicolas seemed eager to get back to the opera and didn't explain much, simply saying a few words before taking small steps away.

Before leaving, he called his House-elf over.

"Tata knows the location of every book; you can ask her about anything you're looking for... if it's here."

The door was closed again, leaving Kyle and Tata staring at each other wide-eyed.

After a moment, Kyle asked with some suspicion, "You know where these books are?"

"Of course, esteemed guest," Tata said proudly. "As a proper House-elf, I must be able to find what my master needs at any time. Although it's difficult, Tata has managed to do it."

"Could you help me find the <One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi>?" Kyle asked tentatively.

"Smack!"

Tata snapped his fingers, and a thick book appeared on the table next to him.

"I also need <Magical Artifacts: Alteration and Fusion>."

"Smack!"

Another snap of the fingers.

This book, which was kept in the Restricted Section of Hogwarts, was also found on the table.

Kyle stepped forward and quickly glanced through it; the contents were exactly the same as what he had seen before.

"What about ' Blood Will Boil '?" Kyle said again, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully.

"Smack!"

The familiar snap of fingers occurred again, but this time, nothing appeared on the table.

"Please forgive me, esteemed guest!"

Tata quickly bent down, her long nose almost touching the ground.

"You can't see that book!"

"I can't see it..." Kyle frowned. "You're not saying it's not there?"

"It's on the 23rd floor, in the 97th row on the left."

Tata stated precisely, "But you can't see it, so Tata can't bring it to you."

Kyle suddenly realized that there must be a so-called Restricted Section here as well.

However, he didn't care too much, although for a moment he did think about looking for the book he had been longing for, "The Magick Moste Evile."

But considering Nicolas Flamel's relationship with Dumbledore, this idea was quickly dismissed.

Since he already knew the Horcrux -making process from Voldemort, there was no need to take the risk.

"It's alright, Tata, I wasn't really interested in that book anyway." Kyle composed himself and said, "Could you help me find Nicolas's notes? Just the basics will do, the sooner the better."

Tata stood up again.

With a series of crackling sounds like firecrackers, the table was quickly piled high with various well-preserved notebooks, parchments, and slates.

But when Kyle opened them with great anticipation, he found that he couldn't understand them at all, and he couldn't even recognize all the symbols that appeared in them.

Well, it's like Nicolas Flamel suddenly had a breakthrough, skipping directly from second grade to graduate school.

And those blank spaces in the middle are exactly what Kyle needs most.

"Are there any earlier ones?" Kyle asked, frowning.

Tata shook her head.

Having no other option, Kyle tried a different approach, having Tata bring out some books that Nicolas had written before.

This time, finally, there was something he could understand.

<The Principles of Alchemical Exchange>

This is an Alchemy Class textbook that Nicolas Flamel wrote specifically for Beauxbatons a long time ago, which is perfect for this course.
