You Dare Open a Shop When You Have Nothing?
The two left in a hurry.
Fred blinked and suggested in a low voice, "Why don't we follow them and take a look?"
"I've never been to Knockturn Alley before," George said, sounding interested. "Mom never lets us go to places like that."
"Mom is right," Percy said sternly. "You're all staying here. You're not going anywhere."
George, as if only now noticing him there, exclaimed in surprise, "Oh, Fred, we got a scolding from the Prefect..."
"Is he going to deduct points from our score...?"
"Because we didn't listen..."
"Deduct 10 points from Leaky Cauldron?"
"Hey, shut up!" Percy said, blushing.
"Yes, Prefect!" Fred replied with a grin, then turned and asked, "Kyle, would you like to take a look at Knockturn Alley?"
"I don't want to," Kyle shook his head, "But I suggest you go and take a look."
"Why?" George was surprised that Kyle would say that.
"Because I brought my camera today."
Kyle patted his pocket. "I'll definitely be able to take the best pictures when Mrs. Weasley beats you up."
"If we sell it to the Daily Prophet, we might be able to get Ginny a new robe."
Hearing Kyle say that, Ginny, who had been looking worried, suddenly burst out laughing.
She looked up at Fred and George, seemingly urging them to hurry up and go over.
"Oh, Ginny, we're your brothers!" George said, displeased.
Ginny pouted. "But I'd rather have the new robe."
"We'll buy it for you!" Fred said irritably.
"And a new wand, as long as you stay away from that bastard Kyle."
George glared at Kyle and gritted his teeth, saying, "Damn it, why did we invite you to Diagon Alley?"
After a burst of laughter and joking, everyone's worries lessened considerably.
Kyle also told them that the Floo Network's furnace door was traceable, and even if Harry wasn't in Knockturn Alley, they could still find him at the Floo Network Authority, a branch of the Department of Magical Transport.
Although such records are generally not made public, if the person they're looking for is Harry Potter, they certainly wouldn't refuse.
Afterwards, the group left the noisy Leaky Cauldron and headed to Diagon Alley through the back entrance.
Fred and George kept their promise and took Ginny to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions to buy her a new robe.
When they came out of the store, they saw Ron leading Mrs. Weasley, Harry, and Hagrid toward them.
Before coming to the robe shop, George sent Ron to stand guard at the Gringotts entrance with an ice cream.
It's right opposite the entrance to the Knockturn Alley; if someone comes out, you'll see him immediately.
"You're right, Kyle," Mrs. Weasley called out from a distance. "He really is in Knockturn Alley. When we got there, he was being bothered by some old bastard."
"That's good... Harry Potter, are you alright?" Kyle asked, looking at Harry.
"No." Harry shook his head, though his expression was still somewhat dazed.
"Harry, Harry!"
Harry suddenly heard someone calling him. He looked up and saw Hermione standing not far away at the entrance of Gringotts. She ran over, her fluffy hair flying behind her.
"You look so disheveled... Hello, Kyle, Fred, George, and Percy, it's so good to see you all again... Are you going to Gringotts, Harry!"
"We'll go when Mr. Weasley arrives," Harry said.
"That's perfect, we can go together."
Then everyone realized that Mr. Weasley had not come back with them.
"Where's Daddy?" Ginny asked.
Mrs. Weasley looked up in confusion and glanced around; clearly, she didn't know the answer to the question either.
"Oh, I'm sorry... Molly, kids."
Fortunately, at that moment, Mr. Weasley strode over, rubbed his shiny bald head, and explained in a low voice, "I think I saw Lucius Malfoy in Knockturn Alley just now, but he disappeared in the blink of an eye."
"Malfoy?" Harry, who was talking to Hermione, turned around and said, "Is it the Malfoy from Slytherin? I saw him and his father at Borgin and Burkes."
"Yes, it's him!" Mr. Weasley asked. "Did he go to buy anything?"
"No, he went to sell things."
Mr. Weasley nodded seriously and with satisfaction. "Ha, I knew it, he was scared too..."
Before he could say anything more, Mrs. Weasley pulled him away.
"We've already wasted a lot of time... Kyle, darling, are you going to Gringotts?"
Kyle shook his head.
"We're not going either," Fred and George said at the same time.
"Meet at Flourish and Blotts in an hour. I'll buy you textbooks, and you two... you're not allowed to go to Knockturn Alley!"
Mrs. Weasley gave a few more instructions, then led the others to Gringotts.
As soon as she left, Fred and George ran happily toward the Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop.
This is the joke shop in Diagon Alley, much larger than Zonko's's in Hogsmeade.
Kyle didn't go with them; instead, he went to another store.
"Mrs. Prier's Magical Herb Garden"
This is a herbal medicine shop. Kyle always goes in and browses around whenever he comes to Diagon Alley to see if there are any rare varieties.
The shopkeeper Mrs. Prier, recognized Kyle, the young wizard who frequented the shop, and smiled, "What would you like to buy today? The Cloak Grass is growing exceptionally well lately."
"I don't need the Cloak Grass, I have plenty at home." Kyle thought for a moment, then asked, "Do you have Armored Pumpkin?"
"No." Mrs. Prier shook her head. "That Sickle is extremely rare; there might not be a single one in the entire British Wizarding World."
"Professor Sprout's greenhouse has them," Kyle thought to himself.
He then continued, "And Sphinx Orchid... preferably the golden kind."
"No."
"Blood-activating herb..."
"No."
"Mimbulus mimbletonia..."
"No!"
"You dare to open a shop when you have nothing?" Kyle muttered under his breath.
Mrs. Prier's forehead vein throbbed.
What does this child think those rare plants are... cabbages that can be bought anywhere?
If it weren't for the fact that Kyle had previously spent a lot of money to buy an Eight-leaf Flower here, she would have kicked them out long ago.
Mrs. Prier tried to keep smiling. "Besides the Sphinx Orchid... we can find other plants for you if you can wait, but it might take a while, about a year."
Furthermore, you need to pay a deposit of 200 Galleon first.
"A year? That's too long." Kyle shook his head.
He was just trying his luck; if he got something, great, but if not, it didn't matter. There was no need to wait a year.
Besides, those plants weren't cheap, but two hundred Galleon... and that was a deposit? That premium was way too high, he wasn't going to waste his money like that.
Just as Kyle turned around to look for Fred and George, he suddenly noticed a large water tank in the corner, inside which was something that looked like octopus tentacles.
Is that Gillyweed?
"This plant is quite rare; even Potions rarely sell it anymore."
"Yes," Mrs. Prier said casually, "I must have been out of my mind to buy it from that Greek witch. Since the Bubble-Head Charm came along, British wizards haven't needed such things."
"The Bubble-Head Charm is indeed a great spell," Kyle remarked casually. "By the way, how many Galleon did you spend on it?"
"Twenty..." Mrs. Prier said with a touch of heartache.
"So expensive..." Kyle clicked his tongue and said, "What a pity. I was really curious about what it would feel like to breathe underwater, but twenty Galleon..."
After hesitating for a moment, Kyle shook his head and walked out of the shop.
"Let's forget about it, this kind of game is too extravagant."
"Wait a minute!"
Mrs. Prier suddenly called out to him, "As a regular customer, if you like, I can give you a satisfactory discount."
"This isn't a good idea..."
Kyle paused, then naturally returned to the store.
