"Who's here...?"

Inside the room, Tina was placing a plate of freshly baked cookies on the table.

"It's Kyle," Newt said with a smile.

Tina looked up in surprise; she had initially thought it was an old friend.

"Did you forget something?"

She handed the plate of cookies to Kyle.

"You can just write a letter and we'll send it to you. Why do you have to make another trip?"

Besides, Hogwarts starts tomorrow, right?

Not long after returning from Paris, Kyle visited Newt and Tina and stayed here for two days.

Besides having nothing better to do, I came back this time also because Fawkes delivered the boxes ahead of schedule.

Having finally obtained the "Phoenix Trial Card," he figured he could use it to pick up Norbert and the Troll, so he wouldn't have to wait until the Christmas holidays.

Kyle just hadn't expected Phoenix to travel in such a rough manner... If he had known it would be like this, he would have been better off waiting until the Christmas holidays.

Kyle didn't say anything, but simply placed the box he was carrying on the wooden shelf next to him.

Newt raised an eyebrow, instantly understanding. He glanced at Fawkes on Kyle's shoulder and nodded imperceptibly.

"Oh... isn't that a phoenix?"

At this moment, Tina also noticed Fawkes and walked over with some surprise. "Dumbledore is here too? Why don't you invite him in?"

"No, he should still be in Austria right now." Newt shook his head. "Only Kyle was sent here by Fawkes."

Tina blinked in surprise upon hearing this.

Seeing a phoenix in Dumbledore's absence... that's quite a rare occurrence.

Then, Tina brought Kyle a glass of lemonade.

The lemonade is specially made; it's very sour and has a slightly bitter taste, but it feels very pleasant after drinking it.

Kyle thought of the fruit Newt had given him before; they seemed to know exactly how to alleviate that discomfort.

"Have you been Apparition by Phoenix before?" Kyle asked curiously.

"That was many years ago," Newt recalled. "I must say, it was a really bad feeling, and a very memorable one."

Kyle nodded in strong agreement.

After finishing their lemonade, the two tacitly went to Newt's trunk.

Not long after entering, Fawkes spread its wings and flew towards a forest not far away.

Kyle frowned. He remembered that this was where the Diricawl lived, and that it grew many different herbs to treat sick Fantastic Beasts.

"Don't worry," Newt said, walking up from behind. "Phoenixes may be proud, but they don't reject Diricawl, so you don't need to worry about them."

Kyle gave a slight smirk.

He wasn't worried about the Diricawl; he was worried about the herbs...

Fawkes is becoming more and more like a foodie. Kyle even heard it swallowing when it left. It's obviously going to a buffet!

Judging from Newt's nonchalant expression, he clearly hadn't realized the seriousness of the situation.

only...

"Never mind, "Kyle shook his head, deciding to remain silent.

Let them eat. The most important thing now is to make Fawkes happy and improve its public image.

As for Newt's loss, Dumbledore can make up for it later. He's a wealthy man, and he won't be short of money for a few blades of grass.

Kyle nodded, then followed Newt to a large lake.

Newt's trunk was probably so big that even he himself couldn't say for sure...

Compared to this lake, the school's Black Lake is as insignificant as a small puddle.

In the center of the lake lies an island covered with giant rocks, which is where the Dragon lives.

The two men sailed to the island in a small boat.

As soon as he stepped ashore, Kyle suddenly felt a gust of wind coming from above, and a huge shadow loomed over his feet.

Seemingly remembering something, Kyle twitched his fingers slightly and, using the ring Diana had given him last year, instantly Apparition several hundred meters away.

The next second, a huge Norwegian Ridgeback crashed into the spot where he had been standing.

It's Norbert; he loved to bump into Kyle like this when he was a puppy.

Although Kyle forcibly corrected this bad habit after it grew up, perhaps due to the excitement of not seeing it for two months, it subconsciously forgot about it.

"Norbert, calm down..."

Seeing the Norwegian Ridgeback turn around, ready to try again, Kyle quickly called out.

Norbert has grown quite a bit bigger than he did two months ago; if someone were to get hit by it, it could be fatal!

With Diana not home, the Apparition on his ring couldn't be renewed; each use reduced his chances, and he didn't want to waste it here.

Hearing Kyle's words, Norbert finally stopped.

It flew over slowly and nuzzled Kyle's arm with its head.

Just then, Newt came over, chuckling, and said, "If you had come a couple of days later, it probably wouldn't have been so excited."

"That's true, but there's nothing we can do about it..." Kyle shrugged.

When he came last time, he originally planned to visit Norbert, but Norber caused trouble and was nearly beaten to death by the native of the box, the Hungarian Horntail that had been returned three times by the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary because of its bad temper.

Norbert was not even a year old, while the Hungarian Horntail was already a mature adult. After that beating, it remained unconscious for several days before waking up, just in time to miss Kyle's visit.

However, there are also advantages.

Newt told him that since waking up, Norbert's personality had become much more restrained. He hadn't exactly gone from a brat to a well-behaved child, but he wasn't as mischievous as before.

As he spoke, Newt took Kyle to see the Hungarian Horntail.

Perhaps worried about something unexpected happening, Newt had never brought him here before.

This was also the first time Kyle had seen the Tree Bee in the box with his own eyes.

It was a strong, black, adult Dragon. It seemed to have smelled something it didn't like. It stood up on its hind legs, raised its neck high, and its orange-yellow eyes suddenly looked in the direction of Kyle and Newt.

Kyle noticed that its mouth was about sixty feet above the ground, making it larger than a normal adult Tree Bee.

No wonder it was returned three times. If a creature of this size suddenly went berserk, even ten wizards together would have a hard time controlling it.

"We smell like Norbert, and she doesn't like that kid," Newt explained.

Kyle nodded; he'd figured it out too.

They didn't stay there long. After leaving the Dragon's island, Newt took Kyle to another area to see Troll.

This guy was having a really good time. When Kyle went over, it was lying on the grass, fast asleep, hugging its stick.
