Kyle's Method
After the Howler ended, a few people smiled, and the voices gradually resumed.
Ron was still hiding under the table.
Harry lowered his head in guilt, unable to even eat.
Fred and George were in a similarly bad mood... Mr. Weasley was going to be investigated, and he was very likely to lose his job because of it.
They wanted to say something, like complaining about Ron or scolding him for not thinking more about the consequences before he acted.
But in the end, these words turned into a sigh.
Obviously, it's pointless to say all this now.
Kyle looked at them and asked, "Are you worried about Mr. Weasley?"
Fred and George nodded.
That's obvious, they couldn't possibly be worried about Ron.
"I do have a plan that should help Mr. Weasley get through this investigation smoothly," Kyle said after thinking for a moment. "Would you like to hear it?"
"..."
"Oh, Mr. Kyle ... I knew you'd have a way." Fred's face was plastered with a fawning smile, making him look more like a lackey than Crabbe and Goyle.
George also diligently prepared a generous bacon and egg sandwich and placed it on Kyle's plate.
Ron emerged from under the table, and Harry and Hermione looked over as well.
"It's simple, we just need to shift the focus of the problem."
Kyle looked at Harry and asked, "I heard you couldn't get into the platform, so you drove to the school, right?"
"That's right, exactly." Harry nodded repeatedly.
He still can't understand how the perfectly good platform entrance suddenly turned into an ordinary stone wall when he passed through it.
"So Kyle, you mean the point is that the platform is impassable?" Cedric frowned.
"That's right." Kyle nodded.
"But we already said that," Harry sighed. "Professor McGonagall didn't care at all; she thought we should send an owl to inform the school."
In his view, if even Professor McGonagall thought that way, then the people at the Ministry of Magic must think the same way.
"That's because you're expressing yourself incorrectly."
Kyle chuckled, "Don't forget, Harry Potter, besides being a Hogwarts student, you have another identity."
"I... have another identity?" Harry was a little confused.
"The Chosen One!" Kanna suddenly exclaimed.
"Yes," Kyle said. "Under normal circumstances, the platform would never have any problems; it could only be that someone is interfering with it."
Coincidentally, with all the adults away, the Chosen One was stopped outside the platform... Do you think it's possible that the Death Eaters did this?"
Cedric gasped.
"They want to take this opportunity to kill Harry, to avenge You-Know-Who?!"
Harry also looked horrified; he hadn't expected this at all.
Could it be true what Kyle said? He almost died?
"That's it." Kyle took a sip of lemonade.
"The Death Eaters have been plotting for a long time, wanting to kill the Chosen One for Voldemort... Well, You-Know-Who's revenge."
Seeing the horrified expressions on the other people's faces, Kyle had no choice but to change his form of address before continuing:
"Fortunately, Mr. Weasley had anticipated this situation and arranged for a flying car in advance, which saved Harry from disaster."
What do you think of this reason?
"Did Dad arrange that car in advance?" Fred blinked.
If he hadn't known Mr. Weasley's character so well, he might have actually believed it.
"That's right, it was arranged in advance," Kyle said knowingly.
"But will the Ministry of Magic believe that?" George frowned.
He didn't know about others, but Malfoy certainly wouldn't believe it. His father had been working against that guy all along, and he definitely wouldn't let this opportunity slip by easily.
"Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant; what matters is whether such a thing could actually happen."
"Think about it, if the Chosen One were really killed by Death Eaters at King's Cross Station, it would be just as fatal for the Ministry of Magic."
"Their prestige will suffer a heavy blow, and Cornelius Fudge, as Minister of Ministry of Magic, will be overwhelmed by the Howler, and may even be forced to resign."
"Fudge is a suspicious man, especially when it comes to his position Minister for Magic; he'll believe even the slightest possibility."
"By the way, Harry Potter, did anyone see you guys having trouble getting into the station?"
Kyle looked at Harry: "I meant the Muggle at the station."
"I think I remember a guard saw me..." Harry said instinctively, "He even asked me if I needed help."
"Very good, we have the most crucial evidence... that Muggle's memory."
Kyle chuckled.
The expressions on the other people's faces were priceless.
"Kyle, would you like Butterbeer?" Fred asked suddenly.
He had initially planned to gloss over the matter, but now he thought... better to just let it go.
If Kyle gets upset, he might not even know how he died.
"So what do we do next?" Harry didn't think much of it and asked eagerly, "Should I write to the Ministry of Magic?"
He would do anything to help Mr. Weasley resolve his troubles as quickly as possible.
"The letter must be written, but not to the Ministry of Magic, but to her..."
Kyle tapped the open Daily Prophet on the table.
Besides a photo of a Ford Anglia flying in the sky, the front page also featured a bold headline.
"Arthur Weasley, a villain hidden beneath a seemingly honest exterior."
This was Rita Skeeter, which not only condemned Mr. Weasley's embezzlement and modification of magical vehicles, but also subtly implied that he used his position to solicit benefits from Pure-blood families.
Right at the end of the article:
"An unnamed victim stated: ' Arthur asked me for Galleon, and when I refused, he ransacked my house and even trampled on a precious Unicorn Hair rug.'"
"That must be Malfoy!" Fred, his face turning red with anger.
"He's lying!" George slammed his hand on the newspaper. "I wish Dad would take some money, then we wouldn't have to buy Ginny her new gown."
"Don't get agitated. We all know Mr. Weasley's character, but now is not the time to think about these things."
Kyle pointed to Rita Skeeter's name.
"We could do what Malfoy did and give her some 'reliable information.'"
"I understand." Fred for a moment, then suddenly laughed. "Leave it to us."
"Remember not to make it too obvious," Kyle cautioned. "Let her figure it out herself."
"No problem!" George patted his chest. "We know what to do."
The three exchanged a smile, everything understood without a word.
Only the simple-minded Harry looked at them, completely bewildered. "What are you talking about... so who am I supposed to write to?"
"Let Fred and George handle the letter-writing."
Kyle said, "Just keep saying that someone doesn't want you to go back to school whenever anyone asks."
"Okay, okay!"
Harry seemed a little nervous and kept asking Kyle how he should answer if others asked him other questions.
However, Kyle didn't give a standard answer this time; he simply told him to remain silent if he didn't know how to respond.
There's really no need for that.
They don't need to worry about the details of the process; someone will take care of that... after all, that's what Rita Skeeter excels at.
