The Headmaster's Office was quiet. Dumbledore stared at the Time-Turner on the table, lost in thought, seemingly pondering something.

Kyle looked up and inadvertently saw a pair of unfinished wool socks on the shelf behind Dumbledore. The socks were white, and each one had a delicate blue "A" on it.

"Headmaster, do you like blue?" Kyle suddenly asked.

"I prefer purple a bit more." Dumbledore his reverie and asked, "Why are you asking this all of a sudden?"

"Nothing, just curiosity." Kyle shook his head. "Professor Dumbledore, I'll leave the Time-Turner to you. I hope you can fix it soon."

"Thank you for your trust, Kyle." Dumbledore's eyes sparkled, and he seemed much more alert.

"I think..."

"Thump!"

Just then, a heavy knocking sound came from outside, so loud that it was almost like banging on the door.

Kyle glanced at Dumbledore and was about to open the door when Lucius Malfoy walked in, followed by a timid House-elf covered in bandages.

He's the first person in all these years to force his way into the Hogwarts Headmaster's office.

But Dumbledore wasn't angry at all. He pushed up his glasses and greeted him with a pleasant expression.

Good evening, Lucius.

"Sorry, I didn't expect your door to be so flimsy." Lucius Malfoy's face showed no remorse, but rather undisguised smugness.

He pulled out a long roll of parchment. "You should remember what we talked about before. If you can't stop the attack, you're leaving."

So... this is a temporary suspension order, and you'll see all twelve directors have signed it. We feel you haven't lived up to your potential, and poor Weasley probably always thought you'd protect him..."

"You mentioned that? Of course I haven't forgotten."

Dumbledore smiled calmly. "But strangely enough, I just received letters from eleven other directors who, upon hearing that the person attacked was Arthur Weasley's son, have all changed their minds and want to withdraw their signatures on the suspension order."

Eleven letters lay on the table, Lucius Malfoy's face was paler than usual, but he still had no intention of giving up.

"But you promised that if you couldn't resolve the attack, you would resign..." he said with a hint of amusement. "Does this mean the great Mr. Dumbledore is going back on his word?"

Of course, if that's really your opinion, that's fine too. However, there might be some negative comments in tomorrow's Daily Prophet; I hope you won't mind.

Dumbledore's eyes looked a little strange.

He didn't say a word at the board meeting, so how did he suddenly agree to resign voluntarily?

But he didn't pay it any mind.

"So, have you caught the murderer?" Lucius pressed.

"Got him, huh?" Dumbledore smile.

"Oh? Who is it!"

"It's the same person as last time, Lucius," Dumbledore said, pointing to the diary on the table, "Except Voldemort is using a different method this time."

Lucius remained silent, his face stiff as if he were wearing a mask.

"Very fortunate." Dumbledore into Malfoy's eyes and said in a calm tone, "Just ten minutes ago, Kyle ... oh, this boy, he single-handedly resolved the incident. I was just about to award him Special Award for Services to the School."

"I have to say..." He patted Kyle on the shoulder, "Including this one, you now have three Special Award for Services to the School, given once a year... You're probably the most outstanding student Hogwarts has ever had."

"Thank you for your compliment, Professor," Kyle said modestly. "I am far from being as good as you."

"I never received so many awards for contributions to the school when I was in school."

The two exchanged a smile and, oblivious to everyone else, began to flatter each other, one praising the other, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

But there are always people who want to spoil the mood.

Malfoy's malevolent gaze swept over them.

Kyle, annoyed by his gaze, frowned and placed his hand on the box. "What are you looking at?"

"Ha!" Lucius Malfoy let out a strange laugh from his throat. "I've seen many geniuses, but they all disappeared in the end, leaving nothing behind. I hope you won't end up like them."

Kyle raised an eyebrow... There's something more to this guy's words.

Since that's the case, then don't blame him for being impolite.

"Mr. Malfoy, do you know what this is?" Kyle picked up the diary and handed it over.

"Just a cheap Muggle notebook."

Malfoy didn't take it. "I won't touch something so dirty."

Despite saying that, a flash of anger crossed his face when he saw the damaged diary.

"It was my oversight."

Kyle took a glove from the shelf next to him, put it over the diary, and then shoved it into Lucius's hand without a word.

"I found this in Ginny's old books. If I'm not mistaken, you probably slipped it in when you were at Flourish and Blotts."

Malfoy's pale hands clenched into fists, then relaxed.

"Is there any evidence?" he asked in a hoarse voice.

"No, but that doesn't matter." Kyle waved his hand. "What matters is that for Tom Riddle, this diary is as important as his life, because it contains his soul."

Of course, that soul no longer exists; it has vanished completely, leaving nothing behind.

In an instant, the diary seemed to Lucius Malfoy like a red-hot iron, and he instinctively threw it away.

Fortunately, his House-elf was quick-witted and caught it in time.

"Mr. Malfoy, it seems you know who Tom Riddle is."

Kyle laughed and said, "Anyway, we should thank the person who brought out the diary; he did us a huge favor."

"That's right." Dumbledore nodded with a smile. "And he also revealed Voldemort's biggest secret. We really should thank him."

Lucius Malfoy's face was completely drained of color; his right hand twitched, as if he were reaching for his wand.

However, he managed to restrain himself in the end, turned around, and walked out dejectedly.

He didn't say a word throughout the entire process.

"Looks like someone's going to have trouble sleeping lately."

Dumbledore stood up and asked, "But Kyle... can you tell me how you know about Horcrux?"

This ancient and evil Dark Magic was something even most professors had never heard of.

His tone was calm, as if he were asking what he had for lunch.

"I saw it once during the holidays in an article published by Mr. Nicolas Flamel," Kyle said casually. "It was in the form of a denial that Horcruxes belong to alchemy."

"The article from 1689?" Dumbledore asked after a moment's thought.

He remembered that Nicolas Flamel had indeed written such an article.

"Yes, and there's also the supplementary note from 1691," Kyle said. "Quite coincidentally, that diary perfectly matches all the characteristics of Horcrux ..."

"I see." Dumbledore smiled. "I thought the four Founders told you this in the Chamber of Secrets of Secrets... Would you like some tea? Or lemonade?"

"Lemonade."

Kyle turned his head to the window, seemingly fascinated by the gloomy sky outside, while thinking to himself, "If I haven't seen that article... then that's what they said."

Dumbledore didn't continue the topic. He walked up to Fawkes and gently stroked the phoenix's feathers. "You were a bit impulsive just now."

"Impulsive?" Kyle asked. "You mean I shouldn't have told Lucius about the Horcrux?"

No, it has nothing to do with that.

Dumbledore suddenly sighed, "It took me two days to knit those gloves; I was going to give them away as gifts."

"Uh..." Kyle was speechless for a moment. "Should I chase after him now and ask for it back?"

Dumbledore for a moment, then shook his head. "It's alright, I'll just knit another one. I should have plenty of free time after today."
