Upon seeing Professor Dumbledore, Kyle knew that this matter was essentially none of their business.

Soon, the other professors arrived as well.

A tabby cat nimbly leaped down from a pillar beside the stairs, transforming into Professor McGonagall in mid-air.

Snape rushed over anxiously, only to breathe a sigh of relief when he saw that Kanna was alright.

Professor Lupin followed behind him, his wand gripping tightly in his hand.

"Chasing Black ... what kind of tricks are you playing?" Professor McGonagall's lips turned pale with anger, her voice icy cold.

"Black is one of the most vicious criminals in the history of the Wizarding World. Do you even know how dangerous this is...? You're lucky you weren't killed by him!"

Snape gave Kyle a sharp, piercing look.

"Then, can anyone explain this to us?" Professor Dumbledore, his expression equally serious.

"It's like this, Professor..." Fred and George immediately stepped forward and described in detail what had happened.

However, they didn't mention the Room of Requirement and deliberately ignored the Mist Gemstone, only saying that they were playing with newly bought joke items in an empty room.

"By the time we noticed the time, the banquet had already begun..."

"We saw Black on our way to the Great Hall..."

He stood in front of the portrait of the Fat Lady, trying to break into the Gryffindor common room...

"If we hadn't shown up just in time, he might have already succeeded..." Fred concluded by boasting, "That was close, just a hair's breadth away."

"In fact, only the Fat Lady can open the entrance to the common room." Professor McGonagall's face was stern, but her tone was not as cold as before.

"Without Fat Lady's permission, Black wouldn't be able to get in, even if he dug a hole in the wall."

Fred and George were momentarily speechless, and awkwardly turned their heads to the side.

"Then why did you chase after him after you found out he had run away?"

Professor McGonagall got angry again at this point, "Why can't you just go to the Great Hall and inform the professor like Cho Chang did!"

"We're worried he might hurt other students..." Fred said, "So we'd like to catch him as soon as possible."

"Black doesn't have a wand, this is the best opportunity."

"Mr. Weasley ..." Professor McGonagall said, "Can you guarantee that Black hasn't stolen any other wizards' wands before?"

"Then why did he run..." George muttered softly, "I mean, we're just a few students, if he had a wand, why would he run..."

"Perhaps he just wants to lower your guard this way so he can kill you one by one."

Snape said with a grim face, "That scum of the wizarding world..."

Professor Lupin's expression was complicated as he listened to Snape's words. He did not refute them, but only sighed painfully.

"Which way did he run off to?" Professor Dumbledore asked.

"I lost him, Professor," Kyle said. "He knows the school very well; I couldn't catch up."

"Yes, no one knows this place better than him."

Lupin walked over to Dumbledore. "Professor, we need to conduct a thorough search of the castle."

"Are you so eager to catch Black?" Snape sneered. "Or do you have some other idea?"

"You should know, Severus," Professor Lupin said in a deep voice, "That I want to catch him more than anyone else."

"I hope so..." Snape's lips moved, seemingly not wanting Kyle and the others to hear too much.

"Professor McGonagall ..." Dumbledore said at the opportune moment, "I think they must be starving. Before the banquet ends, could you please take them to the Great Hall?"

"Oh, right, we're going to conduct a thorough search of the castle next, and the students might have to stay overnight in the Great Hall, so it's okay if the banquet lasts a little longer."

"I understand." Professor McGonagall nodded and left with Kyle and the others.

As Kyle passed by the portrait of the Fat Lady, he noticed that a large section of the canvas had been torn off.

The Fat Lady isn't in the painting; she's probably hiding in another one.

Professor McGonagall noticed this as well, and her expression darkened further.

"See? That ruthless Black didn't even spare a single painting. Do you realize how foolish your actions were just now...?"

Upon arriving at the Great Hall, she opened the door and let them in.

Professor Flitwick and Professor Sprout stood guard at the door.

"Minerva, how is it...?" Professor Flitwick asked, putting down his wand.

"It's Black," Professor McGonagall whispered.

Professor Flitwick clutched his chest, gasping for breath. "How did he get in? Didn't those Dementor at the door see him?"

"I don't know, but they've already gotten Black to run away once..." Professor McGonagall said. "We're going to do a big search of the castle in a bit; the students will be spending the night in the Great Hall."

Come in quickly.

She turned to the group behind her and said, "Because of your recklessness, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff will lose ten points... Ravenclaw get twenty points, because only Cho Chang made the right choice."

After saying that, Professor McGonagall left again.

Kyle, Kanna, Cedric walked together to the Hufflepuff table.

The table was laden with delicious food, but no one was eating. Everyone's eyes were on them, and they were all asking what had happened.

"Quiet!" Professor Flitwick shouted. "Don't worry, nothing will happen. The banquet continues..."

The Great Hall quieted down a bit, but faint murmurs of discussion could still be heard.

Are you alright?

Autumn had secretly slipped over to Hufflepuff's side at some point, hiding between Kanna and Cedric, and peeked out to ask.

"It's nothing," Cedric said. "The professors arrived in about two minutes. But how did you manage to run from the Seventh Floor to the Great Hall so quickly?"

"Of course I didn't run," Qiu said. "I went to the Room of Requirement, got a broom from it, and flew straight to the Great Hall."

"Oh...that's really smart." Cedric gave a thumbs up. "No wonder he's Ravenclaw."

"Don't say that, I haven't settled accounts with you yet." Qiu looked at them with dissatisfaction. "You all said you were going to inform the professor, but in the end, you all ran away faster than the rest of us."

"I didn't think that much at the time..." Cedric scratched his head, "I just instinctively chased after him."

"Then why did you pull me... Don't deny it, I saw it all," Qiu glared at Cedric. "Do you think I'm weak and will hold you back?"

"Someone has to deliver the message, right..." Cedric said, slightly embarrassed.

"And it turned out I was right; we and Gryffindor all lost ten points, while only Ravenclaw gained twenty."

"Heh..." Qiu sneered, continuing to stare at Cedric, "Are we in Ravenclaw really that short of twenty points?"

"Ahem... Ravenclaw has the highest House Points now," Kyle said quietly, pointing to the hourglass. "And they have exactly five more points than Slytherin."

Qiu's next words caught in her throat, and she couldn't say them.

"That's right, exactly." Cedric quickly nodded and said, "You're on par with Slytherin now, and maybe these twenty points will even get you the House Cup."
