In December, two weeks before the holiday, the sky finally cleared up and turned a bright, dazzling eggshell color.

This period was arguably the most peaceful time at Hogwarts. Sirius Black was absent, and Dementor were almost nowhere to be seen on campus... Dumbledore's wrath forced them to stay even further away from the school gates.

It's been about a week since the last Quidditch Match, and during that time, Kyle suddenly discovered something very interesting.

He's been seeing Harry much more often lately than before.

This is a bit unusual.

Although they are quite good friends, their usual activities are very different.

Aside from attending classes and eating, Kyle spends most of his free time in the library or the Room of Requirement.

But Harry was different. He preferred to visit Hagrid and play Wizard's Chess with Ron in the warm common room. He would only occasionally show up at the library when he was rushing to finish his homework.

So, on ordinary days, the two could only see each other when they ate in the Great Hall...

But in the last few days, they seem to keep bumping into each other in various places.

Just now, Kyle had just stepped out of the Charms classroom when he saw Harry running towards him from the other side of the corridor.

"What a coincidence, Kyle, you're here for class too?" Harry greeted him as usual.

Kyle opened his mouth, but for a moment he didn't know how to respond.

What else could he be doing if he didn't attend classes? Coming to have tea and chat with Professor Flitwick? He might want to, but he's afraid Professor Flitwick wouldn't agree.

"Yeah, I'm here for class." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "Um... what are you doing here?"

"I just got out of class and happened to be passing by." As Harry spoke, his eyes kept glancing at the crowd behind Kyle, and he asked casually:

"Which college are you taking this class with?"

"Slytherin," Kyle said.

Upon hearing the name, Harry immediately looked away and walked past them as if nothing had happened.

"I still need to go see Ron. See you next time, Kyle."

"Goodbye."

Watching Harry disappear around the corner, Kanna asked in confusion, "Where is he going...?"

"And this floor is only for spell classes today, so how did he even get here?"

"Maybe they were just passing by on purpose," Kyle said with a smile.

He had had similar doubts before, but after several chance encounters, Kyle was able to roughly guess Harry's purpose.

They also ran into Harry yesterday when they were in class with Ravenclaw.

However, he followed them all the way to the Great Hall, constantly trying to find topics to talk about, and he didn't seem to be thinking about Ron at all.

So today is Slytherin, and he suddenly remembered he has a friend?

Harry's motives are pretty obvious... it can only be Cho.

"This is getting interesting." Under Kanna's questioning gaze, Kyle chuckled twice, turned around, and walked down the stairs.

"Do you know something?" she asked, catching up with him.

"I want to know...?"

"Mmm-hmm." Kanna nodded repeatedly.

"Hey, I'm not talking to you."

"..."

Kanna followed Kyle all the way to the Entrance Hall.

A crowd had gathered around the notice board next to the Great Hall.

Cedric and Cho were there too; they squeezed out of the crowd just as Kyle walked over.

Seeing them, Kyle couldn't help but laugh again.

"What's wrong with you?" Cedric frowned. "What are you laughing about all of a sudden? Did you drink the wrong Potions?"

"Nothing, just thinking about something happy." Kyle put away his curiosity and changed the subject, "What does it say?"

"Oh, it's Professor Lupin's Patronus Charm Club."

Cedric didn't dwell on the matter any further and smiled, "The principal has agreed; the time is set for 6 PM on the first day of school."

"Isn't that still a month away? Isn't that too early?" Kanna looked a little disappointed. "I thought we could start classes next week."

Lockhart's Duelling Club announcement was also posted here last year, and it started only a few days later...

She initially thought this time would be the same, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

"I think it's probably because of the task Professor Lupin assigned us."

Qiu walked over and said, "The announcement says that everyone who wants to join the club must come up with something that makes them particularly happy during this period."

Professor Lupin didn't write down the specific reasons, only saying that the more pleasant memories one has, the easier it is to learn the Patronus Charm.

This month is for us to prepare.

"Happy things..." Kanna murmured.

At that moment, Ron and Hermione also squeezed out from in front of the bulletin board.

"Why are we being made to think about happy things...?" Ron asked, puzzled. "What does this have to do with learning spells?"

"Of course it matters, at least for the Patronus Charm, it's the most important process," Hermione explained. "The book says that the Patronus Charm is about materializing those happy memories, making them a real, tangible state."

"Oh, that sounds like a lot of trouble..." Ron frowned, starting to have second thoughts.

Honestly, he hadn't seen Dementor at school for a long time, so learning the Patronus Charm didn't seem that important anymore.

Hermione was still explaining how difficult the curse was and what precautions to take...

Ron pursed his lips and remained silent, seemingly unwilling to discuss the matter with Hermione. He glanced around and quickly spotted Kyle and his group.

"Hey, Kyle, have you seen Harry?" Ron waved.

"He's looking for someone upstairs," Kyle said calmly, suppressing the urge to laugh. "Didn't you take classes together?"

"Yeah, but Harry just runs off as soon as class is over, without telling me where he's going," Ron muttered. "I've been feeling like he's been acting a little strange these past few days..."

The group then proceeded to the Great Hall.

Throughout the journey, Kanna kept her head down, pondering Professor Lupin's requirements.

She thought a lot about it, but wasn't quite sure if it would work. Finally, during dinner, she suddenly looked up and asked, "Kyle, what were you thinking about when you were learning the Patronus Charm?"

Other people around also looked over, clearly curious about the same question.

"When I received my Hogwarts acceptance letter," Kyle said, picking up a baked potato.

Cedric nodded in agreement, watching the owl deliver the acceptance letter; it was indeed a pleasant thing.

He had used this memory before when practicing the Patronus Charm, but perhaps because the emotions weren't strong enough, the final effect wasn't very noticeable.

"Anything else?" he asked.

"Yes, I have."

Kyle nodded and said, "And when Fred and George first got beaten up."

"They made a very serious mistake and were hung from a tree by Mr. Weasley and given a terrible beating. Their screams could be heard throughout almost the entire Ottery St. Catchpole."

"Although it's been almost ten years since that incident, I still laugh out loud every time I think about it... It's a pity there were no cameras back then; it would have been even better if we could have taken a picture of them."

"Uh..." Cedric chuckled awkwardly.

Whether it was because his home was a bit far from the Burrow, or because he was too young at the time, he had no recollection of it at all.

Cedric turned his head and glanced in the direction of the Gryffindor dining table.

He was somewhat curious whether Fred and George knew that Kyle was using their experiences to learn the Patronus Charm...

However, they probably don't know that, otherwise they would definitely come after Kyle to fight him to the death.
