Can You Guys Go to Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop
Harry decided to wait for Lupin and Sirius there, while Kyle packed his trunk and left the Shrieking Shack.
He found Kanna and her friends drinking Butterbeer with Three Broomsticks.
"Kyle, did your class end so quickly today?"
"No, Professor Dumbledore isn't at the castle today. I came with Sirius," Kyle explained.
"Okay." Kanna nodded. "Would you like something to drink? How about an ice- Butterbeer?"
"Hmm... I think the Pumpkin Juice at school is pretty good too." Kyle glanced at the price and suddenly sighed.
"A cup of Butterbeer costs several Sickle, that's too expensive."
Having just lent out 2,500 Galleon, his confidence suddenly waned.
"Huh?" Fred's hand, which was reaching for the cup, froze. He blinked, looked at Kyle with an incredulous expression, and then said:
"Ron, where did you get Polyjuice Potion and Kyle's hair?"
George chimed in, "I suggest you change back as soon as possible, or find a secluded place to hide for a couple of hours. If Kyle finds out, you're dead."
"If you don't want to become dragon dung..."
"Or the nutrients for the Biting Cabbage..."
"You guys really know your brother well, but Ron probably won't be happy about that..."
Kyle glanced at them. "And with dragon dung and fertilizer, do you think I'm some kind of ruthless Dark Lord?"
"I must say, Ron, you're a really good actor. You really put on a convincing act," Fred said, seemingly convinced that the Kyle in front of him was Ron in disguise.
"Too bad you've got the wrong person," George said. "Kyle drinks Butterbeer and always throws it away after just one glass, so Ron, you should do your research before you come back."
Kyle, watching the two of them working together, said irritably, "You two are the fake ones, when have I ever poured Butterbeer?"
"Still not giving up," Fred said. "Then let me ask you, what's planted in the flowerpot in Kyle's box?"
"Mandrake."
"..."
"Are you really Kyle?" George asked cautiously.
"Nonsense," Kyle said.
Fred scratched his head. "This shouldn't be happening..."
Kyle thinks Butterbeer is expensive?
This is as unbelievable as Ron casually buying a Firebolt.
Kanna, watching Kyle bickering with the Weasley brothers, chuckled and said, "It's alright, I'll buy you a drink."
She ran to the bar, and when she came back, she had a glass of chilled Butterbeer in her hand.
"Thanks..." Kyle said, glancing at Fred and George. "Unlike some people who lost a bet and were supposed to keep buying me Butterbeer, but after only a few years, they've completely forgotten about it."
"It's okay, I can treat you to Butterbeer, as much as you want..." Kanna said with a smile, resting her chin on her hand.
"Okay." Kyle looked at her. "Then I'll take it seriously."
"Um."
"You two, don't go too far..." Fred said irritably, putting down his cup.
He felt like he had bought counterfeit goods from the Three Broomsticks; they smelled sour and foul.
"I'll buy you ten... no, twenty Butterbeer." George couldn't drink anymore either. "Then how about you go to Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop? That's where you belong."
"If you go now, you might still see Cedric and Cho."
"No way," Kyle said without hesitation. "That place is tiny and crowded, and the coffee is sweet like syrup. It's no fun at all."
"Mmm-hmm." Kanna nodded repeatedly in agreement.
"Tsk..." George slapped his forehead hard. All he wanted was a Pumpkin Juice, why was it so difficult?
When the Weasley brothers came out of the Three Broomsticks, it was almost noon. They then went to Zonko's again.
Kyle and Kanna weren't interested in that, so they went straight back to the castle. On the way, Kyle told Connor about what happened in the Shrieking Shack.
"Two thousand five hundred Galleon, no wonder you suddenly ran out of money?"
"Actually, there are still some," Kyle said, "But the place where they're stored is a bit too secure, making it quite difficult to retrieve."
Gringotts?
"No, in the Niffler's pocket," Kyle said, half-laughing and half-crying. "Now it runs away from me like it's avoiding a predator."
Kanna found it somewhat amusing.
If it tries to pull coins out of the Niffler's bag, won't it run away?
"Would you like me to lend you some?"
"No need, it's just for a short time." Kyle shook his head. "It'll be fine after the Triwizard Tournament ends. The champion's prize is a thousand Galleon."
"Are you really that confident you can win the championship? What if you lose to Phoebe and Krum in the end?"
"That's impossible..." Kyle said, "I wouldn't lose, even for the prize money of a thousand Galleon."
"Everyone else is doing it for the honor, but you're only doing it for the prize money."
"It's all the same, it's all the same..." Kyle waved his hand and said.
As they passed through the school gates and returned to the castle, they saw a figure rushing towards them like a whirlwind from afar.
"You're something else, Kyle!"
Sirius was overjoyed and danced with excitement.
"I've been trying for months and still can't get the Moony to stay, but you did it in just half an hour... I really should have brought you here sooner."
"Have you two reached an agreement?" Kyle asked.
"Need to discuss it? Of course I agreed," Sirius said. "I bought this place because of Moony, because he once said that the happiest day of his life was the moment we first completed the Animagus Transformation and appeared in the Shrieking Shack."
Because Werewolf have a hard time finding work, I discussed it with James when we graduated. We planned to buy this place and open a shop when we had money, and then hire Moony to help us. That way, he could have a decent job and a place to stay."
At this point, Sirius paused suddenly, his expression complicated, and said, "You probably already know what happened after that, so I won't go into details. In short, our plan didn't come to fruition, but it's not too late now."
"I'll go to Gringotts right away to get the money and return those Galleon to you."
As he spoke, Sirius hurriedly tried to leave, but was pulled back by someone.
"If you still want Lupin to stay here, then don't do this." Kyle released his hand, shook his head, and said, "Lupin understands your good intentions, but he won't accept your gift. That's his bottom line... You can understand it as wanting to maintain his last bit of dignity in front of his friend."
"So he can accept me lending him Galleon, but he can never accept you."
"But there's no need for that," Sirius said, puzzled. "Moony knows I don't care about this at all."
"But he cares." Kyle shrugged. "I guarantee that once he knows you helped pay the money back, he'll leave without hesitation."
"Well..." Sirius frowned.
"You don't need to worry about this," Kyle continued. "You don't think Lupin isn't capable, do you?"
"Impossible," Sirius said firmly. "Moony is the smartest of us; he'll be fine."
"That's settled then," Kyle laughed. "What you should be doing now is thinking about how you can help Lupin. The Shrieking Shack has been abandoned for so long; renovating it won't be an easy task."
