This snake is good, hand it over!
The sudden appearance of the fog caused Voldemort and his Death Eaters to lose their target.
Faced with the fog that almost covered the entire mountain, Voldemort was momentarily stunned. He couldn't find Kyle's location, and rashly casting a spell might endanger the Death Eaters.
Of course, Voldemort wasn't worried about them; rather, he had just been resurrected and had many things to do. He couldn't possibly do everything himself, and he didn't want to waste his time on trivial matters.
So the Death Eaters are still useful for now, and it would be too much of a waste for them to die here. Otherwise, their inaction over the past ten years would have been enough to warrant their deaths ten times over.
Voldemort raised his wand, attempting to disperse the mist, but with little success.
The fog did thin out a bit in the howling wind, but it would take some time for it to completely dissipate.
During this time, Voldemort felt he should do something to prevent his prey from escaping.
"Nagini!" he said coldly.
A giant snake, at least twelve feet long, appeared at Voldemort's feet. It moved swiftly and seemed completely unaffected by the mist.
"Go find that boy." Voldemort's crimson eyes gleamed in the mist. "You can smell him. Go now, don't let him escape!"
The giant snake immediately twisted its body and crawled in one direction.
Voldemort continued his magic.
The wind on the mountaintop grew stronger and stronger, the branches rustled, and the Death Eaters swayed from side to side. To keep themselves from being blown away, they could only cling tightly to anything that could hold them in place.
Gradually, the fog dissipated.
Voldemort immediately turned his head to look in the direction Nagini had just left.
He saw Kyle, but Kyle didn't show the look of fear he expected. Instead, Kyle smiled and helped Harry up from the ground.
A Niffler was trying to stuff Harry's glasses into his belly pocket.
The large snake named Nagini lay motionless on the ground.
All of this is because of someone who shouldn't have been here, someone Voldemort could never forget.
Albus Dumbledore.
He stood there, his eyes calm and unwavering.
Voldemort raised his wand, and a beam of green light flew toward Dumbledore.
Because Kyle and Harry were right behind him, Dumbledore didn't dodge; instead, he also unleashed a beam of orange light.
The two spells collided in mid-air, unleashing a violent roar.
Then Dumbledore waved his wand, and the surrounding trees came to life. They pulled their roots out of the soil and used their thick branches as weapons, aiming them at the Death Eaters around them.
The Death Eaters screamed and uttered spells, but these spells, which should have shattered rocks and the ground, merely grazed the tree trunks and had no effect whatsoever.
On the contrary, one Death Eaters, because he was running too slowly, got a hole poked in his leg by a tree branch, and howled in pain.
Then the ground where Kyle was standing suddenly turned into a steep slope, and Kyle and Harry were quickly pulled away from the battlefield as if they were on a slide.
Just a second before it slid down, Kyle reacted swiftly, grabbing the giant snake Nagini's tail and dragging it down with him.
"No, stop!"
Kyle clearly heard Voldemort's shrill roar, but he didn't care and continued to hold tightly to the snake's tail.
With Dumbledore around, even if he tried to steal the snake right in front of Voldemort, what could Voldemort do to him?
Sure enough, Voldemort, who was about to give chase, was forced back by a series of powerful spells in the next second.
"Get out of the way, Dumbledore!"
"You know this is impossible, Tom," Dumbledore said calmly. "Your resurrection ends here!"
"So you want my life, Dumbledore... Can you really do something so cruel?"
Kyle couldn't hear what was said after that.
He and Harry slid down the steep slope that Dumbledore up, and it took them a long time to finally stop.
There were so many rocks along the way that Harry felt terrible all over his body, and he didn't know where to put his hands, so he could only lie on the ground groaning.
Kyle was perfectly fine because he had climbed onto Nagini beforehand and had a thick "cushion" to cushion him.
He rolled over and stood up, opened the box and placed it on the ground, then grabbed the snake's tail and stuffed it inside.
He had only stuffed halfway in when a hand suddenly touched his arm.
This was so sudden that Kyle was startled and turned around to find it was Harry.
What are you doing?
"Is that Kyle? Sorry..." Harry reached out and groped for something. "I can't see very well. Have you seen my glasses around here?"
Kyle glanced at the Niffler on his shoulder, and the little guy immediately covered his pocket.
"No." Kyle shook his head, speaking calmly, "It probably fell on the road."
Without the Niffler, Kyle wouldn't have been able to find Harry's location in the mist, and Dumbledore wouldn't have been able to save both of them at once.
So strictly speaking, the Niffler did save Harry's life, so it's reasonable for them to give him a pair of glasses as payment.
Besides, there are some things that Harry shouldn't see, and his current state is just right.
Kyle quickened the pace of the snake's movements.
Harry squinted; he could only vaguely make out a figure holding something that looked like wood, and nothing else.
"What are you doing."
"Oh, it's nothing, just moving some things," Kyle said.
After stuffing Nagini completely inside, he closed the box and stood up.
They have now appeared near the village at the foot of the mountain, and can no longer see what is happening up above, only occasionally seeing streaks of different colors flashing across the sky.
"I think I just heard Professor Dumbledore's voice." Harry groped his way to his feet.
He finally came to his senses and said anxiously, "Kyle, you must tell Professor Dumbledore quickly, Voldemort... Voldemort has been resurrected."
"Someone used a hand, a bone... and my blood, put them in a pot and boiled them, Voldemort was in it too, and then he came back to life... We must tell Dumbledore this news quickly."
Kyle blinked.
Why did Harry's description of this process seem so familiar... Oh, right, that's how Hagrid cooks his stew... He puts all sorts of claws, meat, and bones into a pot to cook, and then adds a main dish at the end.
Could it be that Voldemort learned this method from Hagrid?
Kyle shook his head, trying to shake off the absurd idea and image.
"I'm not joking."
Seeing that Kyle hadn't responded, Harry said anxiously, "Voldemort has really risen from the dead! We must tell Professor Dumbledore this news quickly..."
"Relax, Harry, of course I believe you," Kyle said. "Remember? I saw him too, and Professor Dumbledore already knows."
"In fact, he's fighting Voldemort up there right now; he's the one who brought us down."
"So that was really Professor Dumbledore?" Harry murmured.
"Of course, otherwise why do you think we could talk for so long?"
"That's good... that's good..." Harry seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, his legs went weak, and he sat back down on the ground.
