Not long after Fudge left, Kanna walked into the Three Broomsticks with two bags of candy.

"So the person you're looking for this time is the Minister for Magic?" she couldn't help but ask.

"Yes," Kyle said with a smile, "Fudge came to persuade me to drop out of school; he wants me to become the next Minister for Magic right now."

Upon hearing the first part of the sentence, Kanna felt a sudden panic, but upon hearing the second part, she quickly realized what was happening, threw the bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans she was holding at Kyle, and said irritably:

"Then go ahead, youngest minister."

"No, actually I refused." Kyle chuckled as he took Dovedo's hand. "Minister for Magic is so boring. The work is more than fifth-graders' homework, and it's not interesting at all."

"As if you could actually become one," Kanna bluntly called out Kyle's words.

"Well, I certainly can't be one," Kyle said, "But Professor Dumbledore can."

"What?" Kanna blinked, somewhat bewildered. "Professor Dumbledore is running for Minister for Magic?"

"We have to keep Fudge a little bit of a threat, don't we?" Kyle popped a Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans into his mouth. "So he won't always be trying to trip us up."

Then, Kyle briefly explained the plan he and Dumbledore had discussed.

"You want Fudge to believe this is Professor Dumbledore's conspiracy?"

Kanna frowned after hearing this. "But if that happens, he'll definitely become even more aggressive. Professor Snape told me that Fudge is very power-hungry, and he values the Minister's position more than anything else. He definitely won't let Professor Dumbledore take it from him."

"Don't worry, no one will try to take it from him. Remember what I just said? This is just a ruse to make him feel threatened."

Kyle explained, "Our initial goal was to deal with the resurgent You-Know-Who, and the Ministry of Magic is one of the most significant forces among them."

"But Fudge, out of fear... or rather, not wanting to get himself into trouble, has been vehemently denying this fact."

"That's true." Kanna couldn't help but nod.

Throughout the holiday, the Daily Prophet kept emphasizing that the You-Know-Who had not been resurrected and that Dumbledore's previous pronouncements were all nonsense.

So much so that by the second month, she couldn't be bothered to even look at the newspaper anymore.

"So you lied to Fudge and said that the Minister for Magic during wartime could be re-elected?"

"No, it's true." Kyle shook his head. "Take Hector Fawley, for example. He was about to finish his term as Minister of Welfare. He had been in that position for fifteen years because Grindelwald started the war, but he never took the threat Grindelwald posed to the entire Wizarding World seriously. That's why he was ousted."

"Grindelwald?" Kanna repeated softly. She remembered hearing the name before, but couldn't quite place it.

"Yes, the Dark Lord before the You-Know-Who. He wreaked havoc all over Europe, including North America," Kyle said. "But in the end, he was defeated by Professor Dumbledore."

"But..." Kanna continued, "As far as I know, when the You-Know-Who and the Death Eaters were in power, the Ministry of Magic had two different ministers."

"It's different. They were kicked out because they were too incompetent to handle the trouble caused by the You-Know-Who," Kyle explained. "If they had done a good enough job, even just a mediocre one, they could have stayed."

"Okay." Kanna nodded; she hadn't really thought about this before.

At this time, more and more people joined the Three Broomsticks party. All the tables were full, and some people were standing there looking for empty seats.

They soon noticed the spot in the corner, and several Hufflepuff sixth-grade students walked over.

After all, the table is quite large, but there are only Kyle and Kanna there. It wouldn't be a problem to seat two or three more people.

"Let's go back," Kanna suggested.

There are too many people here, and it's hard to guarantee that if we continue talking, others won't hear us, and it would be troublesome if it got out.

"Okay." Kyle nodded.

The two men stood up, greeted the students who had come over, and then walked out with Three Broomsticks.

It was still before noon, and the road back to school was very quiet; there was no one else around except for them.

The two continued their previous conversation.

"What do you think the minister will do? Will he believe you?"

"I don't know." Kyle shook his head. "But one thing is for sure, he won't believe it immediately. In the meantime, he'll probably target Professor Dumbledore first."

"Aren't you worried he'll put what you said in the newspapers and tell everyone that the so-called resurrection of the You-Know-Who is just a plot by Dumbledore to become Minister for Magic?"

"That's the only thing I'm not worried about at all." Kyle shook his head with a smile. "From the day Fudge became minister, he's always been worried that Professor Dumbledore would take his place. Because he knows in his heart that he is far inferior to Professor Dumbledore in terms of popularity and ability."

"So no matter what, he can't possibly make this public. Let's put it this way, regardless of whether it's a conspiracy or not, if Professor Dumbledore really wanted to be minister, countless people would immediately choose to support him."

"Fudge won't cause trouble for himself. Of course, there's also the most important point... If he had any intention of being re-elected, he would also choose to suppress this matter and target only Professor Dumbledore."

Kanna nodded, seemingly understanding, as the gates of Hogwarts were just ahead. Suddenly, something occurred to her.

"What if Fudge doesn't want to be re-elected and actually makes you prove in the newspapers that the You-Know-Who didn't come back to life and that Professor Dumbledore was lying?" she asked.

"That would be very awkward for me." Kyle shrugged and said with a smile, "But the probability of that happening is too low. If Fudge really did that, I would think more highly of him."

"But what if it really happens... wouldn't you be forced to stand against Professor Dumbledore?"

Kanna said with some concern, "And with you joining us, people will be even less likely to believe that the You-Know-Who has been resurrected."

"And what about Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Professor Sprout... Won't they misunderstand you?"

"No, that won't happen." Kyle glanced up at the two winged warthogs on the gate. "If that happens, I'll have to use the Memory Charm again."

"Use the Memory Charm again?" Kanna asked, puzzled. "You just used the Memory Charm?"

"Not just now, I used it once when I was in solitary confinement at Umbridge," Kyle said. "It worked pretty well..."

As they talked, they passed through the school gate and walked towards the castle.
