The True Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom
After being kicked out of the classroom by Snape, Kyle didn't rush to leave. Instead, under Kanna's strange gaze, he put his ear to the door again.
But all he heard was a buzzing sound, as if a large swarm of Billywig were flying inside.
This is the effect of Muffliato.
"Honestly, how come there's no trust left at all?" Kyle muttered to himself.
He knew he wasn't going to hear any exciting news today.
With no other option, Kyle left the underground classroom with Kanna, and at the same time, he shared his guess.
"That's unlikely..." Kanna hesitated. "But why would Professor Snape use the Memory Charm on Umbridge?"
Although she knew that Snape was indeed a bit harsh when interacting with professors he didn't get along with, such as Lupin or Sirius, he had never laid a hand on them.
Even when facing Sirius, they would only mock each other and never directly attack each other, let alone stab each other in the back.
After all, they are professors, and this is Hogwarts, so they can't do anything too outrageous. Even if they are angry, they will restrain themselves.
"It shouldn't be wrong. You must have noticed, right? Umbridge asked the exact same questions as last time, which means she doesn't remember coming here before."
Kyle glanced back at the underground classroom that was receding into the distance. "As for why Professor Snape did this, perhaps Umbridge said something offensive... It's perfectly normal for this kind of thing to happen to her."
Kyle had wanted to wait a little longer; he was curious whether Snape would use the Memory Charm on Umbridge this time.
But no one came out of the underground classroom, and since the next class was Professor Sprout's Herbology Class, he had no choice but to suppress his curiosity and walk with Kanna towards the greenhouse outside the castle.
The atmosphere in the Great Hall was quite subtle during dinner tonight. Some people seemed to be secretly anticipating something, and they were unusually excited.
Fred also accidentally lit a Filibuster's Fireworks, and a lion-shaped spark flew through the air above the Great Hall, startling some of the younger students who screamed and scattered, knocking over several cups of Pumpkin Juice.
Fred paid the price for his actions, losing twenty points to an angry Professor McGonagall.
But unlike them, Cedric, who had been tense for several days, was unusually calm at the Hufflepuff table.
"Aren't you nervous anymore?" Kyle asked.
"It's strange," Cedric scooped a spoonful of corn chowder, "I was so nervous at lunchtime that I couldn't eat anything, but after class just now, I suddenly felt fine."
"We've prepared for a long time, considered all possible scenarios, and made corresponding preparations. Given that, why should I be nervous?"
"It's good that you think that way," Kyle said.
He noticed that Cedric and Harry were in completely different states. Harry had been behaving normally for the past few days, but now he was sitting there nervously, not eating a single thing, and even the fireworks that Fred accidentally lit couldn't attract his attention.
Cedric, on the other hand, seemed to become more relaxed the closer it got to this point.
"Are you going to the Room of Requirement today?" Cedric asked. "At noon today, everyone who confirmed their participation in the self-study of Defense Against the Dark Arts signed a magical contract."
"Due to the influence of magic, they cannot reveal the contents of the Room of Requirement to anyone, and you don't need to worry about Umbridge finding out."
"If that's the case... then alright." Kyle nodded.
To be honest, he was also curious about what Cedric would do, and besides, he didn't care even if Umbridge found out.
Kyle had to admit that while Professor Lockhart's character wasn't great, he had indeed taught him a very useful spell, especially in this situation, which had solved a lot of problems.
At 7:30, Kyle, Kanna, Cedric left the Hufflepuff Common Room and headed toward the Room of Requirement.
"I already asked, House-elf can't take us to the Seventh Floor. We'll have to go in batches."
Cedric glanced at the portrait of fruit at the end of the corridor and said, "They cannot use magic in front of students without the headmaster's permission."
"Why don't you just go and tell Professor Dumbledore?" Kyle said.
"You must be joking." Cedric glanced at him. "Our actions tonight violate at least ten school rules. How could we possibly tell the principal? He certainly wouldn't approve."
"That's not necessarily true," Kyle said. "You're doing this for the sake of learning, aren't you? I dare say the principal wouldn't mind giving you a few special privileges."
"Well... let's forget about it." Cedric hesitated for a moment, then shook his head.
As a typical Hufflepuff, he still had a bit of a headmaster's bias towards Dumbledore and never thought of telling him about violating school rules.
There's probably only one person at Hogwarts who has this idea and dares to do it: Kyle.
When they arrived on the Seventh Floor, there was already a door opposite the Barnabas the Barmy tapestry.
Cedric knocked three times, then pushed open the door and went inside.
The room contained Hermione, Harry, Ron, Fred, and George.
Upon seeing Kyle who had come with him, Ron's face darkened. Just as he was about to say something, he saw Fred and George excitedly rushing to greet him.
"I knew you'd come, buddy," Fred said.
"While your plans are important, it would be a real shame to miss out on something so interesting."
"This... you guys aren't..." Ron stared blankly at the scene before him, feeling like his brain wasn't quite processing what was happening.
Didn't they have a falling out?
They were ignoring each other before, how did they make up so quickly?
However, Hermione, who was holding a book nearby, had an "I knew it" expression on her face.
She had already guessed that Kyle and his group must have some kind of plan, only Ron was too stupid to see it.
"But this is the first time we've seen you defend us like this..." Fred stepped forward and patted the stunned Ron.
"Yeah," George said with a laugh, "That makes us too embarrassed to tease you anymore..."
Even if Ron was stupid, he realized at this point that he had been tricked.
He was Fred and George's brother, and they had kept everything from him, watching him make a fool of himself without saying a word...
That's outrageous!
Ron felt betrayed, his face flushed with anger, and he secretly vowed that he would never meddle in other people's business again!
Seeing Ron's angry expression, Fred and George laughed even harder.
At that moment, Kyle was looking around.

In addition, there are some special magical items on the shelf. Although they are all basic items, such as Sneakoscope, a demon-finding pointer, and a revealing mirror, they can still play a good auxiliary role.
