Kyle did not think it would be particularly difficult for Kanna to pass the Extraordinary Potioneers Association's assessment. With her talent, and Snape's help on top of that, it was practically a sure thing.
Of course, that was assuming no one deliberately marked her down...
But then again, even if they did, it did not matter. He would be graduating next year anyway, and he would have plenty of time to help them correct their mistakes.
An hour later, even the pudding desserts had disappeared from the tables, and the golden plates had returned to their spotless shine.
The moment Dumbledore stood up, the laughter and chatter echoing through the Great Hall vanished.
"Good evening, everyone," he said with a smile, spreading his arms as though he wished to embrace every person in the Great Hall.
"Look at his hand," Mikel suddenly said.
Ryan turned to look. "It looks normal. What's wrong?"
"I mean, Dumbledore is wearing a ring," Mikel said. "He's never worn one before."
Kyle noticed it too. There was now a conspicuous gemstone ring on Dumbledore's finger, its black stone only slightly smaller than a Golden Snitch.

Kyle narrowed his eyes, but quickly stopped dwelling on it.
There had been no obvious change to Dumbledore's hand; it looked just as it had before. That meant the curse on the ring had already disappeared.
And the fact that he could wear it also meant it was no longer a Horcrux... Dumbledore still had a contract on him. If the ring were still a Horcrux, he would not even be able to touch it.
As if sensing Kyle's gaze, Dumbledore looked over as well and gave him a small wink.
"I am very glad to see you all here again, with not a single person
