As expected, when the final Potions Class ended on Friday, the bottle of Felix Felicis ultimately ended up in Kanna's pocket.

The Polyjuice Potion she had brewed was nearly perfect; even Horace Slughorn couldn't find a single flaw in it.

Kyle's had been almost as good, but compared to Kanna's, the potion in his cauldron was a slightly darker color.

That was because he had added the African tree snake skin a little too late. It had no effect on the potion itself, and if Kanna hadn't been there, he definitely would have taken first place.

But honestly, neither Kyle nor Kanna cared all that much about the Felix Felicis Slughorn had offered as a reward.

They both had Felix Felicis already, and they also had ways of getting more.
