Did Albus Dumbledore go back a hundred years...

Kyle's heart skipped a beat.

He had thought Viktor wanted to continue discussing alchemy with him. He had never expected him to bring up this.

But how did he know?

Kyle was certain that when Dumbledore left Godric's Hollow, only the two of them had been there. Even Bathilda had been upstairs and had no idea what had happened below.

Not to mention that Professor Viktor was all the way in France. How exactly had he found out?

Kyle tightened his grip on his wand, but outwardly remained perfectly calm, his expression unchanged. "That's something you should ask Professor McGonagall. How could I possibly know Professor Dumbledore's itinerary?"

"You don't know?" Viktor frowned.

"Of course I don't. I only just graduated," Kyle said. "Besides, going back a hundred years sounds a little too exaggerated. The existing Time-Turners can't do that."

"Not a current one—a Time-Turner from a thousand years ago." Viktor rubbed his forehead. "Strange. Nicolas clearly said he gave that thing to you... Did I remember wrong?"

"Uh, wait a moment..."

Kyle blinked. "Professor Viktor, you know about that Time-Turner?"

"Of course. Albus came to me a long time ago and asked me to help repair something... that Time-Turner."

Viktor said, "The runic formula that got it working again was something Nicolas and I worked out together."

Hearing that, Kyle vaguely recalled Dumbledore mentioning that he would invite the most renowned alchemy masters of the day to restore the Time-Turner.

It seemed that, besides Nicolas Flamel, Professor Viktor had been one of them.

At that thought, Kyle quietly breathed a little easier.
