"I'm sorry, Albus, I didn't expect them to do something so rude."

In the Headmaster's Office at Hogwarts, Fudge toyed with his top hat. "I reminded them before, but as you know, the Hit Wizard have been busy for months because of that Swooping Evil, so sometimes they can't help but act impulsively."

"I understand what you mean, Cornelius," Dumbledore said calmly, "But I trust Hagrid; there's absolutely no Swooping Evil there."

"Yes, I actually have a lot of faith in Hagrid."

Fudge turned his head away, avoiding Dumbledore's eyes. "But you have to understand, he has a criminal record, and we received a report, so the Ministry of Magic has to investigate—it's also for the students' safety."

"So I didn't stop you from investigating Hagrid, and even Minerva only intervened when you were planning to forcibly take Hagrid away."

Dumbledore crossed his arms, fingers resting on his chin, and said slowly, "I can assure you that, now or in the future, you can bring witnesses to Hogwarts to identify Hagrid at any time. We have an excellent Potions Professor here who can easily tell whether he is lying."

If you are unable to travel, you can write a letter and I will personally take Hagrid to the Ministry of Magic to confront him."

"There's no need for that, Albus," Fudge said awkwardly. "I trust you completely, and the investigation into Hagrid is over."

There was no trace of the Swooping Evil having ever been in his room, that much was certain.

"Thank you for your trust, Cornelius," Dumbledore said gently. "I didn't expect you to come to Hogwarts in person for this matter."

"Oh, it's nothing, Albus." Fudge took a sip of his tea and said, "It was our mistake to begin with, so it's only right that I come. I just hope Minerva won't be too angry."

"But speaking of the Swooping Evil, something suddenly came to mind."

"Oh?" Dumbledore raised his eyelids, showing a look of great interest.

That's right.

Fudge unconsciously straightened his collar and said, "Recently, some people in the Ministry of Magic have been using the Swooping Evil incident to smear me, saying that I am inefficient."

They also think my decision to return the Fantastic Beasts was a mistake, and that I shouldn't have transferred Newt and Chris away for so long.

Even the Ministry of Magic in other countries wrote to me, saying I shouldn't have Newt to their countries."

"But Albus, I just wanted to express how important this matter is; my intentions were good."

"I completely understand how you feel," Dumbledore nodded. "Sometimes, not being understood is a very distressing thing."

"I knew you would understand me." Fudge took another sip of his tea. "The most common thing I hear these days is criticism, which makes it impossible for me to even do my job properly. If it weren't for this, I would definitely have written to you in advance when the Hit Wizard came to Hogwarts."

Dumbledore's eyes flickered, and he stared at Fudge without saying a word.

"If it were you," Fudge asked casually, "How would you handle this kind of trouble...?"

No one knows what Fudge and Dumbledore said in the Headmaster's Office, but quite a few people saw him leave Hogwarts with a stern face.

Clearly, he didn't seem very satisfied with the conversation.

After Fudge left, Hagrid carried a large barrel of single malt whisky to Professor Oren, had a good drink with him, and gave him a large bag of Rock Cake as a thank you gift for speaking up for him.

This led to Kyle feeling that Professor Oren's speech was slightly slurred during the Defence Against the Dark Arts the next day.

"I'm trying a new spell."

Professor Oren explained, "It was just a slight mishap during the process, resulting in some minor injuries. It's nothing serious."

Well, Kyle was quite curious about what kind of curse could break a tooth.

Remove your lunch curse?

Professor McGonagall's actions during the Transfiguration Class were also somewhat puzzling.

She first tapped Kyle with her wand for no apparent reason while checking his homework, and then asked him a very simple question.

After Kyle answered correctly, she gave Hufflepuff a full twenty points, which was unprecedented for her.

This thrilled the other young wizards, who initially thought Professor McGonagall had been provoked into supporting a house to compete with Slytherin for the House Cup.

However, they soon realized they were overthinking things.

Professor McGonagall remained the same Professor McGonagall, serious and impartial, showing no favoritism towards any particular college.

This large bonus only happened once, and in third grade, during Transfiguration Class, she even lost ten points from Hufflepuff because of a homework issue.

The reason for this is probably only known to Kyle.

When he was calling out among the young wizards, he noticed that Professor McGonagall had glanced at him several times, intentionally or unintentionally.

Although Kyle deliberately changed his voice, it only fooled the people at the Ministry of Magic and the young wizards around him.

Professor McGonagall wasn't so easily fooled.

However, judging from her actions, Professor McGonagall doesn't seem to intend to pursue the matter.

In addition, Kyle planted the roots of the Devil's Snare in the Room of Requirement, right next to the Mooncalf's cave, in a place completely devoid of sunlight.

After two weeks of careful care, what was originally just a small section of roots has transformed into a new Devil's Snare, even sprouting tendrils as thick as a finger.

Kyle simply poked the tendrils lightly, and they immediately wrapped around Kyle wrist.

Since the tendrils are still too young and weak, being entangled with them feels like a massage, which is quite comfortable.

Kyle played with the Devil's Snare like a toy for a while before letting it go.

The Mooncalf nearby had completely adapted to their surroundings and were sleeping peacefully in their respective caves.

The Dittany and Rue are growing quite well; if used as food, they should be enough to feed the Mooncalf for several months.

However, Kyle recently thought about improving their diet and decided to get some Bubotuber.

A whole Bubotuber, mixed with leaves of plants such as Dittany Rue, is crushed and then rolled into small balls. This is the Mooncalf's favorite food.

However, Hogsmeade didn't have a place to buy Bubotuber, and the school greenhouse didn't offer any opportunities either. Kyle could only wait until the holidays to go to Diagon Alley... and then go to Newt to get some.

The Biting Cabbage is also almost ripe; its rows of teeth are as sharp as razors.

Kyle found a rock and threw it at them.

The hard bluestone crunched in the mouth of the Biting Cabbage like a chickpea.

Kyle is already looking forward to Devil's Snare growing up; when it and Biting Cabbage are paired up for crowd control and damage, the scene will be...

Hehehe.
