Harry felt the surroundings around him change in an instant. He saw that wizard who looked so much like Dumbledore again... the owner of the Hog's Head Inn.
He had never imagined that the scruffy old wizard could be so formidable. He had been fighting Voldemort since earlier, and the battle had continued until now.
Though he was clearly struggling far more than before, lasting this long was already incredibly impressive.
After all, that was Voldemort.
"No, that's not right..." Harry shook his head.
What he needed to do now was find that three-headed snake, not watch what Voldemort was doing.
Change, come on, change... Harry kept chanting inwardly, trying to alter his perspective this way and possess the snake.
Unfortunately, this was not something he could control.
Perhaps because the Horcrux's thoughts were relatively weak, Harry could usually only enter Voldemort's own mind through his scar. Only once or twice had he ever been able to see that snake.
In other words, Harry only had viewing rights over Voldemort's thoughts, not the right to choose what he saw.
He tried for ages, taking deep breaths and blinking forcefully without pause, but he could not change his perspective. Every time, all he saw was the increasingly grim face of the owner of the Hog's Head Inn.
"That's not right, he can't hold on much longer!" Harry suddenly shouted.
"Harry, what's wrong..." Hermione jumped in fright, thinking something had happened to Harry, and hurried over to check on him.
But Harry did not speak.
At that moment, he no longer had time to worry about the three-headed snake. Instead, he stared anxiously at the image in his mind.
Just then, he had suddenly seen the owner of the Hog's Head Inn's hand tremble, nearly causing him to throw away his wand.
