Lured by Galleon, Kyle and his friends spent a whole week in that cramped, stuffy, abandoned classroom, creating over three hundred "Exam-Passing Talisman."
More than a hundred of them were carved by six people, one stroke at a time, purely handmade, without any adulteration.
The remaining two hundred were mass-produced items; the designs were first engraved, and then transferred to the branches of those pear trees using Gemino Curse. It was quite perfunctory, but they looked rather convincing.
After a week, the group had become quite proficient at using the Gemino Curse.
It's worth mentioning that this spell was originally meant to be learned in sixth grade.
"The rest is up to you."
At the pre-school dinner, Kyle looked at the other five people with a serious expression and said, "You all know the process, just do it the same way you sold the maps before."
Fred and the others nodded with equally serious expressions.
That's what they said, but this wasn't a small-scale operation like selling maps; it was a big business affecting the entire school, so they were still a little nervous.
"Kyle, does Hufflepuff also charge money?" The good-natured Cedric hesitated.
"This isn't a necessity, Cedric," Kyle said, patting him on the shoulder. "But we can give Hufflepuff a good discount."
"50% off?"
"No, 5% off!" Kyle thought for a moment and added, "But I can round it down to one less Knut."
"..."
Cedric's lips twitched. He wanted to stick to his opinion, but there was nothing he could do. Kyle firmly controlled the pricing power, and his opinion wouldn't make a difference.
After exchanging a few words, everyone dispersed to prepare for tomorrow's plans.
To achieve the desired publicity effect, Fred and George even wrote a large flyer overnight and posted it in the most conspicuous place in the Gryffindor Common Room.
Are you still worried about the exam? Are you still worried that you won't perform well and won't get good grades?
Now you don't need to worry anymore!
To ensure everyone has a wonderful summer vacation, we highly recommend the "Exam-Passing Talisman".
It is recorded in "Hogwarts: Hogwarts, A History" and was popular at Hogwarts for over a hundred years. It was the best-selling product at the time, and even Headmaster Dumbledore wore it during exams.
Interested buyers should contact Fred Weasley and George Weasley, both in Year 2.
(Note: This product is purely symbolic and cannot enhance the wearer's intelligence, nor can it replace exams. Please purchase at your own discretion.)
The original version of the flyer didn't actually have the last sentence, but Kyle had them add it after he learned about it.
The main reason is its "stability" and the no-return policy.
Fred and George were initially worried that adding that sentence would deter anyone from buying their products.
But after only half a day, that worry disappeared.
Once the first person found the meaning of the wand and quill in "Hogwarts: Hogwarts, A History" and told the others, a steady stream of young wizards rushed into the two's dormitory with Sickle and Galleon, afraid that if they were a second too slow, they would miss out on the "Exam-Passing Talisman".
The dormitory door had been broken several times by the crowd, and in the end, Fred didn't even bother to use Mending Charm; he simply ripped the door off with a wave of his hand.
The situation was similar in Hufflepuff, except the badger cubs were crammed into Cedric's dormitory.
Although Slytherin hadn't posted any flyers, they naturally went to find Kanna after learning about it.
Of the six, only Cho, who was in charge of Ravenclaw, had a slightly easier time, since most top students were confident and didn't need this.
A few days later, one afternoon, in the same abandoned classroom.
The sawdust and knives that used to litter the floor were gone, replaced by a square table and piles of Galleon and Silver Sickle on its surface.
"Gulp~"
Fred swallowed hard. "How much is this?"
"That comes to a total of 709 Galleon, 15 Sickle, and 5 Knut," Qiu blurted out. "I didn't expect so many people to buy the custom-made items, so it's much more than I anticipated."
"Over seven hundred Galleon ..." George's gaze was somewhat dazed. "Am I dreaming?"
Fred sighed from the side, "If that's the case, I hope this dream never ends."
Kyle picked up a Galleon from the table and chuckled, "You'd better think this through; there are seven such dreams in total."
"Then I'd better wake up quickly," Fred laughed heartily.
But as he was laughing, his face suddenly scrunched up.
Fred suddenly remembered that he was a year ahead of Kyle, which meant that by the time Kyle was in seventh grade, Fred would have already graduated and wouldn't be entitled to the money for that year.
The thought of hundreds of Galleon flying away filled Fred with heartache. He looked at Kyle with a resentful expression and said, "Why didn't you enroll last year?"
Kyle felt a chill run down his spine from his gaze and took two steps to the side in disgust.
"When I go to school isn't up to me to decide; you'll have to talk to Dumbledore."
"Um, this is determined by the Book of Admittance," Cedric whispered, "And has nothing to do with the headmaster."
But Fred and George clearly weren't listening; they were currently discussing how to delay their graduation by a year.
When they left, each of them had a full one hundred Galleon in their pockets.
As for the remaining funds, everyone unanimously decided that Kyle would keep them as operating funds for the next event.
Kyle agreed.
He had originally planned to use the money to invest in the Weasley brothers, but they were currently busy searching for the complete password to the Marauder's Map and didn't have much time to study those joke products.
Let's talk about it next year.
In the following weeks, the professors suddenly noticed that a particular wooden ornament seemed to have become popular at Hogwarts, and almost everyone was wearing it.
It's not some magical item; it's just ordinary pear wood, available in both round and square shapes.
There is another type, which is less common. It is decorated with gold paint and has a layer of wax on the surface. The workmanship looks much more exquisite than the others, but it is still not a magical item.
Professors wouldn't normally care about these things; they're just trendy accessories, available every year, as long as they're not dangerous.
But this time was different, because they discovered that since these decorations became popular, the young wizards weren't as nervous in class as before; they were in a much better mood.
To be honest, even the professors weren't sure if this was a good thing.
