Background

Tang San is Tang Hao's son. During his childhood in Holy Soul Village, he suffered severe facial scalding after falling into a pot of boiling porridge. The incident prompted Tang Hao to become markedly more attentive, seek treatment for him, and later offer to teach him blacksmithing. 5 6

He possessed Innate Full Soul Power and entered Notting Academy with the seemingly weak Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul. There, he first met Xu Yuan, another Innate Full Soul Power student with Blue Silver Grass; Tang San immediately disliked him. 12

Yu Xiaogang identified Tang San as a likely Twin Martial Soul holder and accepted him as a disciple. Though Tang San initially doubted parts of Yu Xiaogang's reasoning, he ultimately committed himself to his teacher's control-and-poison path for Blue Silver Grass. 16 20
