Background

Lu Tianren entered Falcon Mountain seeking a body-cultivator inheritance connected to the Taiji Health Cultivation Technique. Before Chen Han arrived, Lu had tried to blast the inheritance open by force, causing a partial mountain collapse, blocking known routes, and awakening a demonic beast 79.

He was accompanied by four Martial Master servants, whom he had induced to pursue cultivation despite showing no concern for their suffering or survival. One servant was severely injured while practicing the Taiji Health Cultivation Technique; Lu merely gave him six months to succeed before ordering him out of sight 71 72.

His greed becomes increasingly destabilizing when Chen Han gains strength and acquires inheritance treasures. He attempts to use Chen Han's relatives and Zhuge Rushuang as leverage, then pursues Chen Han into an open trap rather than allow him further time to cultivate 152 156.

Falcon Mountain Inheritance Hunt

Lu Tianren searches Falcon Mountain for a body-cultivator inheritance but cannot open it himself. After discovering that Chen Han has cultivated the Taiji Health Cultivation Technique, he changes from attempting to kill Chen Han to exploiting him as an inheritance key 73 76.

He funds Chen Han's final cultivation with three century-old exotic beast hearts and guards him while he advances toward Steel Sinew Iron Bone. Lu's objective is to claim the inheritance once Chen has fulfilled the opening condition 79 80.

Lu attacks Su Zhenyue to remove a rival, but the group is disrupted by demonic beasts, cave collapses, and Chen Han's actions. After Chen Han obtains the inheritance's Qi-Refining Technique, Lu pursues him through the collapsing mountain and is buried beneath the ruins, though he survives 81 91 93.

Imperial City Pursuit

After recovering in the cultivation world and replenishing his talismans, Lu and Su Zhenyue arrive in the Imperial City to hunt Chen Han. Lu openly commandeers the Empire's investigative agencies and treats the Emperor as beneath his regard 106 107.

Unable to find Chen Han, Lu becomes increasingly enraged. Once Zhao Wushuang reveals Chen Han's identity and family ties, Lu orders the capture of Chen Han's relatives and Zhuge Rushuang to force him into submission 145 152.

Final Confrontation and Death

Lu summons Chen Han to the Imperial Palace through Zhuge Rushuang's yellow talisman and attempts to extort Chen's spirit stones, magical artifacts, and inheritance treasures. Chen Han rescues Zhuge but refuses to surrender anything of value 153 154.

Chen Han then provokes Lu into pursuing him outside the city. Lu believes his flight, spells, and artifacts will let him defeat a body cultivator from range, but Chen Han has hired an elderly cultivator using Lu's own resources as payment 156 157.

After exhausting talismans and fleeing through the mountains, Lu severely injures Chen Han with a fireball. Chen Han nevertheless closes the distance, uses the Soul-Shaking Technique to interrupt Lu's response, captures him, and kills him 158 159.
