Chen Xuanzang sat in meditation atop an emerald lotus leaf, his palms pressed together before his chest. His face was as still as an ancient well, his eyes half-closed. Somehow, even the surging lake water around Chen Xuanzang gradually calmed. No matter how the distant waves crashed toward him, not the slightest ripple rose within ten meters of his body. The water was as smooth as a mirror.

The bright moon in the sky reflected before Chen Xuanzang, equally round, equally white.

The wind moved, the water moved, because the heart moved. The wind did not move, the water did not move, because the heart did not move.

"Sun Wukong..." A booming voice rolled in like muffled thunder, echoing between heaven and earth. "Sun! Wukong!"

In the distance, Sun Wukong was pounding Zhu Bajie with one fist after another. Zhu Bajie had already been beaten to the brink of death. Suddenly, Sun Wukong seemed to sense something. His large ears twitched, as if he had heard someone calling him. He stopped, raised his head, and immediately locked onto Chen Xuanzang meditating atop the lotus leaf.

Sun Wukong's two nostrils, like black holes, flared. He unconsciously let out two coughing sounds, then ignored Zhu Bajie and flung him away with a swing of his arm. Then Sun Wukong suddenly raised both arms, threw back his head, and roared at the sky. His massive arms slammed down onto the water.
