"Isn't this my battlefield?!"

This was already the second time Tsugikuni Yoriichi had heard Shanks say something like that. It was clear just how strongly Shanks believed in that notion.

Yoriichi murmured softly. When he looked at Shanks again, his gaze had changed. He seemed to understand what Shanks was thinking. The two of them had long since set foot upon entirely opposite paths.

For once, irritation openly surfaced in Yoriichi's emotions. His words also plunged Shanks into silence.

Although Shanks' Observation Haki could not work on Yoriichi, how could he possibly fail to sense emotions that Yoriichi was displaying so openly?

Yoriichi seemed shocked and disappointed, and beneath those emotions lay an overwhelming fury. Shanks had no idea what exactly Yoriichi was so angry about.
