Chen Xi fought through repeated battles with the Lamenter before learning that Lin Yue had created the regressions through Dominion and that Chen Xi was the true wielder of time. After they reversed the world, Chen Xi awakened on Blue Star with her memories and powers intact, determined to face the Lamenter alone.

• Chen Xi and Lin Yue reached the Oracle Empire, where Jormungandr brought them to a council of gods preparing to face the Lamenter.
• Lin Yue revealed that she had regressed alone eight times, then the Lamenter attacked and erased the empire as Chen Xi faced it without her.
• Chen Xi repeatedly fought the Lamenter and returned through apparent rewinds, but Lin Yue eventually revealed there had been no time rewind and that Chen Xi was the one with the power to regress.
• Lin Yue explained that her Dominion had shaped Chen Xi’s bloodline, powers, and apparent regressions, then fought Chen Xi while offering to let her turn back time if she won.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue reconciled, spent their final moments together, and activated Countercurrent to reverse the world, but the Lamenter trapped Chen Xi in a maze after shattering her Hourglass.
• Chen Xi received help from Zhu Li, Wu Xin, Gu Yu, Tang Xue, and Luo Li as she crossed the maze and advanced toward the Lamenter.
• Chen Xi awakened on Blue Star, remembered who she was, and learned that Lin Yue’s lingering Phantom Shadow had protected her, and she retained her powers but could not alter the Lamenter’s worldline or wield new Legends.
• Chen Xi created a domain that let her alter Blue Star’s rules, sent Investigation Bureau agents back after inspecting their memories, and wondered why Countercurrent had not erased her memories.

Chen Xi recruited Lin Yue into Prosperity Group, helped her master the Shadow Dweller, and grew close to her as Lin Yue rose in power. After Wu Xin’s betrayal and Lin Yue’s victory over the Smiling Clown, Lin Yue chose to stay in Tianhai City and defend it.

• Chen Xi recruited Lin Yue and Wu Xin into Prosperity Group, then trained Lin Yue to control the Shadow Dweller and welcomed Zhu Li to First Squad.
• Lin Yue killed the Silent Giant during her first mission, gained Legend Degree, and asked Chen Xi on a date.
• Chen Xi confessed her feelings to Lin Yue, gave her a matching Mandarin Duck Ring, and invited her to move in.
• Chen Xi trained Lin Yue until she reached Second Rank and began forming her Domain Expansion, while secretly arranging to work with Wu Xin despite knowing Wu Xin wanted Lin Yue’s body.
• Lin Yue fought the Smiling Clown and destroyed it with the Star Seed, but Wu Xin revealed her plan to possess Lin Yue and appeared to kill Chen Xi.
• Lin Yue crushed Wu Xin, restored Chen Xi’s severed head and body, and later visited her in the hospital as Chen Xi recovered.
• Chen Xi asked Prosperity Group to help defend Tianhai City and made Lin Yue’s choice decisive, then promoted her to deputy captain.
• Lin Yue chose to stay in Tianhai City to protect the people and memories she cherished, while Chen Xi planned to face the Lamenter, Evil Flower, and other calamities with her.

Chen Xi and Lin Yue turned back time, defeated Evil Flower and the Lamenter, then set out to erase threats across the world. They killed the Sand Lord and Tree Spirit, and confronted the Forest King as Chen Xi asked him to choose the meaning of his death.

• Chen Xi used Destined Cards to prepare the Sixth Squad, then led a counter-encirclement of Evil Flower at Junlan Hotel.
• Zhu Li and Lin Yue defeated Feng Shisan and Qianqi Weiming, while Lin Yue killed Ishii Masamitsu and Chen Xi killed Mist Man.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue confirmed they had turned back time and recovered their strength, then Chen Xi destroyed Evil Flower and killed Ji Wushuang.
• Lin Yue defeated the Lamenter’s first form, and Chen Xi defeated its second form with Dominion and Death Reversal.
• Chen Xi revealed her identity to the Countermeasure Bureau, restored some companions’ memories, and reunited Luo Li with Tang Xue.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue traveled to the Black Moon Empire, restored Gu Yu’s memories, and erased Mortis before moving on to the Hengsha Federation.
