Chen Xi and Lin Yue completed several God-Chosen Trials while uncovering old wounds and deepening their bond. The arc ended with their friends clearing separate trials as Lin Yue sought information about Fifth Rank Ascension.

• Ailin explained that the God-Chosen Trial preserved broken futures and enlisted Chen Xi and Lin Yue as special envoys to prevent those worldlines from affecting reality.
• Chen Xi, Lin Yue, Gu Yu, Mili, and Emma defeated Tyranny, earning Chen Xi an Ex rating and a gift that helped her ascend to Fourth Rank.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue reunited with Qiu Ye and investigated the Flame Ghost in a recreated Tianhai City, where Zhu Li revealed that she carried a surviving spark of it.
• Chen Xi released Zhu Li to kill the Flame Ghost, then received a large Wish Power reward while Lin Yue chose the teleportation item God Speed.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue explored Lin Yue’s recreated memories, discussed Wu Xin’s past, and exchanged confessions until Chen Xi completed the Love Panel’s missions.
• Lin Yue told Chen Xi that her coming Fifth Rank would make her Erosion State permanent, but Chen Xi reassured her that their shared memories proved she was still herself.
• Ailin sent Chen Xi and Lin Yue into modified solo trials, where Chen Xi confronted suspected guests and Lin Yue defeated Agatha in the past.
• Gu Yu defeated the infected man and earned an EX evaluation, while Lin Yue repeatedly refined a request to the Holy Grace Gift Box for information about Fifth Rank Ascension Rituals.

Chen Xi and Lin Yue defeated the reborn Lamenter, earned their trial rewards, and learned more about their Legends and their past connection to Ailin. After spending two months in the Transit Station, they returned to the real world, where Chen Xi woke in Duke's Mansion.

• Ailin warned Chen Xi and Lin Yue that the Lamenter had entered the Trial Space, and Chen Xi chose three EX-grade ratings instead of raised Ranks.
• Chen Xi and her companions fought the sixth-rank Lamenter, with Lin Yue, Mili, Emma, and Gu Yu defending against its shadows while Chen Xi and Andres attacked it.
• Chen Xi used Andres’s copied injuries to destroy the Lamenter, earning the group an EX rating and Diamond Tier Three Mark Badges.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue received their rewards, and Lin Yue discovered that her ritual required bringing abundant rain to a drought-stricken country.
• Ailin gave Chen Xi and Lin Yue Primal Wreaths, revealed their past leadership alongside Wugu, and warned them about the risks of Emerald Energy.
• Chen Xi bonded with the Heart of Tashuer, while Gu Yu received Bai Ziqing’s necklace and learned to summon God’s Descent.
• Gu Yu and Lin Yue used their Gift Boxes to obtain Quicksand and advance, while Chen Xi spent the remaining two months with them in the Transit Station.

Chen Xi and Lin Yue revealed their identities to Ademos and learned when and where the Lamenter would descend, while arranging an alliance and preparing for the fight. At Isha’s banquet, Gu Yu showed her domain to Ju Xiu, who recognized Chen Xi and the others as having come back to life.

• Chen Xi, Gu Yu, and Lin Yue met Casper, where Aveline recognized them as Wex’s adopted daughters and privately challenged their cover story.
• Casper attacked Chen Xi and Lin Yue in a transformed Colosseum, but Andres intervened, and Chen Xi revealed her Tier 6 power before agreeing to discuss the Lamenter with Casper.
• Lin Yue confessed her guilt over Chen Xi’s suffering, and Chen Xi reassured her before they tested their domains and discussed Lin Yue’s evolved Regression ability.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue agreed to work with Ademos to confront the Lamenter, help Zhu Li escape the Flame Ghost, and support Gu Yu’s path to becoming a Saintess.
• At the garden pavilion, Chen Xi recognized Ademos as the Black Moon Pope, and Lin Yue revealed herself as the god of time while Chen Xi identified herself as the god of death.
• Ademos said the Lamenter would descend in the Hengsha Federation in 280 days and proposed an alliance, while Chen Xi agreed to raise her strength and Ademos offered to help with her and Lin Yue’s Legend Degree requirements.
• Chen Xi used Last Jasmine to upgrade Flower Cluster, then attended Isha’s banquet with Lin Yue, where the two danced and Gu Yu asked for help with an orange-haired girl.
• Gu Yu revealed her Vast Starry Sky domain to the girl, who awakened with a Sixth Rank magical aura, introduced herself as Ju Xiu, and declared that Chen Xi and the others had come back to life.

After reaching Rank Five and gaining authority in the Black Moon Empire, Chen Xi investigated crimson contamination, caught Hilton and Vitali, and pursued a blood aura linked to Samuel. The trail led Chen Xi, Lin Yue, Gu Yu, Phyllis, and Casper into the Black Mist Woodland as they sought the mastermind behind the deaths and contamination.

• Ju Xiu granted Gu Yu the ability Eternity, and Chen Xi later learned that Iseriel and Todds had died in Qiyan Territory.
• Chen Xi absorbed the Lord's Cross, reached the peak of Rank Five, and gained the Beginning and End of All Things domain transformation.
• Chen Xi accepted Ademos's authority to deal with corrupt nobles and traveled with Lin Yue and Gu Yu to Feide City.
• Chen Xi confronted Marquis Hilton, whose mind had been altered by crimson contamination, and Hilton died when his prepared suicide ability activated.
• Chen Xi and Lin Yue caught Corleone Vitali as she tried to escape through Fide City's teleportation array, then returned with Vitali and Samuel's body.
• Phyllis examined the bodies, Marsha destroyed the volatile black mist, and Phyllis began interrogating Samuel before tracking the crimson aura from his corpse.
