History

Gu Rong served the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as its Bone Douluo and Guardian Elder. He was the grandfather of the sect’s exceptional young genius, Gu Yi, and viewed Ning Rongrong with affection as well. When Gu Yi’s relationship with Ning Rongrong deteriorated, Gu Rong arrived at Shrek Academy intending to support both Ning Fengzhi and his grandson, only to learn that Gu Yi had been responsible for making Rongrong cry. 39 40

During the conflict surrounding Xiao Wu, Gu Rong followed Ning Fengzhi’s orders and seized Xiao Wu through spatial transfer, intending to secure her hundred-thousand-year soul ring and soul bone for Gu Yi. 50 Later, after Gu Yi fled the sect, Gu Rong volunteered to travel to Spirit City and bring him back, seeking both the truth and leniency for his grandson. 80

Gu Rong found Gu Yi, knocked him unconscious, and attempted to carry him back to the sect.
