Gu Yi dominated the Spirit Hall tournament while confronting the Star Luo royals, Shrek Academy, and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. The arc ended with Gu Yi using the Death Knell against Chen Xin as Ning Fengzhi and Ning Rongrong watched in panic.

• Gu Yi rescued Hu Liena from the toads, brought her to Heaven Dou Royal Academy for treatment, and later rejected her request to choose her over Zhu Zhuqing.
• Gu Yi revealed his level seventy-five Soul Saint status to Snake Woman and Dragon Duke, then warned Qian Renxue about Bibi Dong’s Rakshasa God Trial and earned her favor.

After returning to Spirit City, he traveled to the Heaven Dou Empire to eliminate trial targets and bring the Elemental Academies under Spirit Hall’s command, leaving Skywater Academy and Tang Yuehua’s situation unresolved.

• Gu Yi and Hu Liena won their hundredth arena matches, refused the Slaughter King’s offer, and entered Hell Road, where Gu Yi defeated its monsters and they emerged with Divine Slaughter's Domain.
• Gu Yi infiltrated Slaughter King's Palace, stole the Asura Blood Sword, and received the Asura Nine Tests before escaping with Hu Liena.

Gu Yi advanced through the Asura God Trials while helping Spirit Hall secure the Heaven Dou Empire and preparing for war with the Star Luo Empire. After gaining a Million Year Soul Ring, he joined Bibi Dong’s campaign, which ended with plans for a night raid against the Star Luo army.

• Gu Yi mastered his killing aura with Tang Yuehua’s help, passed the second Asura God Test, and agreed with Qian Renxue to help her unify the continent.
