"Whew!"
Chi Jiuyu, seated cross-legged in the quiet chamber, suddenly snapped her eyes open and sprang to her feet!
The blue-gold longsword resting across her knees fell with her movement, only to tremble lightly once it reached a certain height. In the end, it transformed into a streak of azure light, circled the room once, and came to a stop at Chi Jiuyu's side.
"Master Yuyu?"
The voice was still young and crisp, tinged with a hint of confusion.

"Master Yuyu?" Yuyi asked again, still worried.
"...I'm fine."
Recalling what had just happened, Chi Jiuyu slowly sat back down.
Only then did she notice that the crystal she had placed inside the jade box had somehow floated out.
"Yiyi, when did this thing come out?"
"Huh?"
Yuyi drifted once around the hexagonal crystal suspended in midair.
"I didn't notice either!"
"..."
Chi Jiuyu stared at the hexagonal crystal before her, watching the sword shadow formed from threads of light within it as she sank into thought.
Neither she nor Yiyi had noticed it, so clearly, the issue lay with this thing itself.
If nothing unexpected had happened, then everything she had just seen
