• Ginrei Kuchiki revealed that Kuchiki Koga had escaped his seal and could turn Zanpakuto against their wielders, prompting Yamamoto Genryusai to order patrols and spiritual-pressure monitoring across Seireitei and Rukongai.
• Su Feng helped suppress rebellious Zanpakuto across the Ninth Division and Seireitei, then subdued Suzumebachi and helped Soi Fon contain the Maggot’s Nest breakout.
• Su Feng, Shunsui Kyoraku, and Jushiro Ukitake sealed Ryujin Jakka in a Kido Barrier, while Kuchiki Koga and Muramasa sent rebellious Zanpakuto rampaging through Noble District.

Su Feng defeated Azashiro Soya in Hueco Mundo and persuaded him to serve as a Soul Reaper agent, then advanced through training and Byakuya Kuchiki’s captaincy exam. The story leaves Su Feng’s group in the Forest of Menos after rescuing Ashido Kanō and stopping his spontaneous Hollowfication.

• Azashiro Soya escaped Mugen, confronted the captains, and pursued Su Feng’s power to alter humanity and eradicate Hollows at their source.
• Su Feng fought Azashiro across the Seireitei and then in Hueco Mundo, where he defeated him and convinced him to become a Soul Reaper agent.
