Ayako was born into the Hyuuga clan and bears the Caged Bird seal beneath her forehead protector. Her parents died protecting the Main Branch; the clan told her their deaths were an honor. Rather than accepting this fate, Ayako quietly longed to live, breathe, and die freely. She was drawn to Mo Jingxian before properly meeting him because he openly left the Uchiha clan, an act she hoped would succeed. 26 46
