Background / History

Lin Qianxun, a modern man familiar with the tragic original story of Douluo Continent, awakened in Qian Xunji's body. Realizing that the original Qian Xunji was destined to die at Bibi Dong's hands, he bound with the “Change the Douluo Ending” system and resolved to prevent Bibi Dong from falling into darkness. 1

Rather than treating Bibi Dong with the original body's severity, Qian Xunji began caring for her openly. On her eighteenth birthday, he took her through Martial Soul City's night market, bought her food and a blessing lantern, and promised to take her out on every monthly rest day. This changed their formerly fearful master-disciple dynamic and began the system quest to win her heart. 1 7

To eliminate a future threat to both himself and Bibi Dong, Qian Xunji had Yu Xiaogang killed. The act completed his initial quest to prevent Bibi Dong's corruption, after which the system assigned him the new objective of winning her heart. 6 7
