Background

Qian Renxue retains memories of a previous life in which she lived under isolation and political pressure. She had infiltrated the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace as Xue Qinghe, later became the Angel God, and ultimately lost everyone important to her. In her final moments, she leaned against her mother’s tombstone and mourned her family. 117 122 393

Reborn as the daughter of Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong, she experiences a radically different childhood. Her parents openly care for her, Qian Daoliu becomes a devoted grandfather, and her maternal grandparents give her an ordinary family home beyond the Pope Palace.
