Ji Dong and Lie Yan embraced and gazed at each other, their eyes brimming with tears.
At this moment, their bodies also began to shift from solid to translucent. This memory that had appeared out of nowhere left them both somewhat dazed.
The memories that had surfaced were so real, and everything they had experienced in their lives did not seem fake either.
Had they truly become gods? Or had everything they experienced in the God Realm merely been a fantasy before their deaths?
And now, this was the moment that fantasy shattered.
"God of Judgment, you should know something, right?"
Still holding Lie Yan tightly, Ji Dong looked once more at Su Chen, who remained entirely real, and asked with certainty.
He no longer had any intention of attacking Su Chen to find a way to avoid disappearing.
Since they would soon vanish, they might as well seize these last fleeting moments and hold each other tightly.
"I do know a little."
Su Chen did not mind saying a few final words to Ji Dong and Lie Yan.
But Ji Dong did not pursue that subject. Instead, he asked:
"God of Destruction probably will not disappear like you, right? Even that fusion of the Power of Finality might not kill the God of Destruction."
With his life counting down, Ji Dong had grown quite a bit smarter.
After the God of Destruction had been reborn, his changes had been far too great. Merely experiencing a life-or-death crisis once should not have been enough to alter both his personality and eloquence so drastically.
Perhaps the God of Destruction had experienced far more than they imagined.
Perhaps the God of Destruction had broken free from the end of time he spoke of.
Ji Dong no longer asked
