Background / History

At six years old, Su Chen returns home to find his pendant glowing and learns that the God of Destruction resides within it. Though wary of the deity’s motives, he accepts his guidance, receiving a meditation technique and instruction intended to develop his Twin Martial Souls. 2

He grows up in Sea Burial Village, where he shares a farewell meal with the village children before leaving to seek his first soul ring in Star Dou Forest. During his early journey, he kills a sea soul beast, defeats robbers and highwaymen, and refines the Hundred Battles Spear Art through live combat. 7 8 9 11 12

The God of Destruction orchestrates Su Chen’s acquisition of Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s energy. Su Chen survives the integration of its power, gaining an unusually versatile first soul ring and the lingering cold shadow associated with the silkworm. 16 18
