• The God of Destruction awoke before Tang San’s ascension and chose Su Chen, a boy with Twin Martial Souls, as an unknown variable who might help him oppose a future crisis.
• The God of Destruction taught Su Chen the Hundred Battles Spear Art and obtained the Goddess of Life’s blessing, which strengthened Su Chen enough to kill a Sea Soul Beast and travel from Sea Burial Village.
• Su Chen crossed the countryside, fought bandits, and gathered wealth while the God of Destruction improved his relations with the Seven Original Sin Gods, the God of Goodness, and the God of Evil.
• Tang San returned to the past, while the God of Destruction arranged for Sky Dream Ice Silkworm to become Su Chen’s first Soul Ring through a Heavenly Tribulation that left Su Chen with ten golden rings and four soul skills.

• At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Su Chen taught Dugu Bo the Poison Nerve Scripture and pledged to use medicinal herbs to strengthen his abilities.
• Su Chen awakened the contrasting emotional powers of his Life-Killing Spear and Life-Protecting Shield, drawing the attention of the God of Goodness and the God of Evil, who chose him as their successor.
• The God of Destruction arranged for the other gods to pursue Tang San as an heir, while Dugu Bo took Su Chen to Heaven Dou City and introduced him to Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling.

• Zhilin joined Su Chen’s sect, resigned from his councilor post, and began learning the Poison Nerve Scripture through Dugu Yan.
• Qian Renxue met Su Chen, learned that he was the God of Goodness’s inheritor, and assigned Snake Lance Douluo to protect him.
• Snake Lance Douluo and Su Chen captured a Blood Soul Sect remnant, who revealed that the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect had ordered the assassination attempt.

The arc ended with Qian Renxue visiting Su Chen’s sect and Ning Fengzhi arriving as Sword Douluo sensed a summons in Sunset Forest.

• Yu Xiaogang learned that the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect might have been wiped out, while Su Chen revealed his Abomination Domain and agreed to obtain the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud.
