The red mist released by Demon Charm and the dust from the collision had nearly swallowed the entire Arena. The crowd heard a tremendous crash, but no one could see the two forces collide.
Inside the red mist,
The stalemate lasted barely half a second before the Radiant Saint Dragon's four claws sank into the ground and its massive body dipped. It turned its head, driving its golden breath against one side of the Seven Treasures Heaven-Shaking Hammer!
The giant hammer lurched sideways, and the three layers of amplifying light around its head shattered one after another. Golden Bloodline Power battered the same spot until it finally tore a gap in the hammer.
Platinum lightning poured straight through.
Crackle—!
The fourth and fifth layers of Glazed Light exploded from within. Dense arcs of lightning crawled over the hammerhead and raced down the handle.
Tang San's arms suddenly went numb, and his fingers opened beyond his control. Behind him, Ning Chengjiu shuddered as blood spilled from all seven of his orifices.
The Soul Power flowing between them fell into disarray.
The Seven Treasures Heaven-Shaking Hammer shook violently. Cracks spread across it before it collapsed under the dragon's breath.
The Soul Power stored inside burst outward. The barrier at the Arena's edge bulged sharply, then shattered into countless points of light.
The spectators in the front rows cried out and stumbled back. Several Arena Guard Soul Masters acted at once, stopping the flying rubble and shockwave before they reached the stands.
Inside the red mist, Tang San and Ning Chengjiu fell one after the other.
Tang San barely managed to raise himself halfway before his arms spasmed and he collapsed again.
At the far end of the Arena, the Radiant Saint Dragon slowly closed its enormous jaws.
