Background / History

Tang San was originally a Supreme God King who chose death and reincarnation to seek his late wife, Xiao Wu. His soul crossed the timeline and entered the body of the male infant Tang San, born to Tang Hao and A-Zhu, a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Man Faced Demon Spider Emperor. He retains memories of his former life, although many details of the distant Douluo Continent era have become blurred. 156 160

Shortly after his birth, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect attacked his family to claim A-Zhu's soul ring and soul bone. A-Zhu was killed, Bibi Dong absorbed her Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Ring, and Tang San was abducted by the sect. Tang San is controlled, observant, and highly calculating. He conceals his suspicions of Yu Xiaogang's unusual strength and Soul Tool arm, becoming Xiaogang's disciple partly to investigate the changes that have disrupted his expected future. 210 238

His greatest weakness is his fixation on Xiao Wu. He accepts repeated beatings without retaliation, interprets her presence as a source of happiness despite her hostility, and repeatedly places her safety above his own cultivation, teammates, and tactical judgment. Tang San discovers that Xiao Wu survived and now stands with Spirit Hall.
