Background / History

Tang San was originally a Supreme God King who chose death and reincarnation to seek his late wife, Xiao Wu. His soul crossed the timeline and entered the body of the male infant Tang San, born to Tang Hao and A-Zhu, a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Man Faced Demon Spider Emperor. He retains memories of his former life, although many details of the distant Douluo Continent era have become blurred. 156 160

He is distinct from Qian Renling, another reincarnated individual whose previous identity was also an Outer Sect disciple of the Bashu Tang Sect named Tang San. While Qian Renling inherited the memories of the Tang Sect disciple who leapt from Hell's Peak, this Tang San is the Supreme God King who returned from the future and occupied the original male Tang San's body. 156 157 304

Shortly after his birth, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect attacked his family to claim A-Zhu's soul ring and soul bone. A-Zhu was killed, Bibi Dong absorbed her Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Ring, and Tang San was abducted by the sect. His greatest weakness is his fixation on Xiao Wu. He accepts repeated beatings without retaliation, interprets her presence as a source of happiness despite her hostility, and repeatedly places her safety above his own cultivation, teammates, and tactical judgment.
