Just as Kakashi had said, the four clones each released an Earth Style ninjutsu.

"Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall!"

Four walls rose up, completely surrounding all the ninjas from the Land of Earth.

The towering earthen walls once again shocked the ninjas of the Land of Earth, their hearts deeply shaken.

"Impossible, this is too impossible. Is this brat a freak? He actually used clones to release four B-rank ninjutsu at once, and such perfect B-rank ninjutsu at that. Even the Tsuchikage couldn't do this."

Of course, these people would never know until their deaths that Yang Xing's Earth Style ninjutsu were low-consumption techniques enhanced by his aura.

Never mind four B-rank ninjutsu, even if he knew four S-rank ninjutsu, it would be possible to release them all at once.

The trapped group looked at each other in dismay, but when they saw a figure appear atop the towering wall, they realized something was wrong.

The three jonin reacted quickly; as they leaped up, they charged directly toward the top.

"Don't just stand there, jump up quickly! This brat wants to use Fire Style to seal us in here!"

"This kid—Li and the others really were killed by him. Run!"

The three jonin scrambled upward with such speed that in less than a second, they were nearing Yang Xing, while the weaker ones lagged behind by several meters.

But even with the three jonin rushing up, it was already too late.

Since Yang Xing had been prepared, there was no way for them to avoid this ninjutsu.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique! Go to hell!"

A massive ball of thick, roaring flames rolled onto the three jonin who were heading straight into it.

It carried them along, crashing into the several chunin and elite genin who were charging up behind them.

BOOM!

The explosion was earth-shattering, causing even Yang Xing's earthen walls to shake violently.

The direct hit resulted in the deaths of several chunin and genin.

The three jonin were all severely injured; they swayed unsteadily, barely managing to hold themselves up, and it was clear they were in bad shape.

Watching the three on the ground, Yang Xing frowned. He hadn't expected jonin to have such high vitality; it seemed that without using his full strength, it was difficult to kill them all with his enhanced ninjutsu.

Yet, in the moment Yang Xing was lost in thought, someone helped him out.

The three jonin, realizing Yang Xing's terror, were focusing their guard. The moment Yang Xing was distracted, they prepared to release their own ninjutsu to make the kid suffer.

Just as they were halfway through their hand seals, a strange itching sensation attacked their entire bodies. The itching started from the soles of their feet, causing all three to look down.

Seeing the tiny insects crawling out from the soil—thousands upon thousands of them swarming onto their bodies—the density of the mass made their faces look even more terrified than if they had seen hell.

"No, stop it!"

"Wait, don't crawl up! No, don't bite me! Ahhh!"

The tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, of insects crawled out from the soil, surrounding the three and burying them completely. Caught off guard, the three were swallowed whole by the sea of insects.

Their miserable screams lasted only a few seconds before they were reduced to dry bones, leaving not even a trace of ash behind.

Only after the three fell did Yang Xing hear the task completion notification in his ear.

To his surprise, even though he hadn't killed them himself, he still received a five-star rating.

Task complete. A-rank Jonin Assassination task finished. Perfect 5-star rating!

Thud, thud, thud!

Yang Xing dispelled his Earth Style ninjutsu, and the ground returned to its calm state.

Landing right in front of Kakashi and the others, Yang Xing paid no mind to the shock in their eyes and called out toward the nearby forest: "Hey, Uncle, it's all over. You should come out now; stop hiding."

Under the surprised gazes of the group, Shibi Aburame walked out from the forest.

It was a pity that those jonin from the Water Flow Clan would never have the chance to see the face of this man in sunglasses before their deaths.

Shibi Aburame nodded slightly to Yang Xing as he walked out of the forest, stepped forward, and silently began to retrieve his insects without a word.

The way Shibi Aburame retrieved the insects from the corpses was so gruesome that it left the two girls standing to the side, their faces pale, unable to utter a single question.

Anko even huddled close to Yang Xing, her pretty face unusually deathly pale.

"This person... is this guy from the Aburame Clan? Are people from the Aburame Clan this powerful?" Anko was stunned by the insects. She understood Yang Xing's strength, but she found it hard to imagine that insects could be this terrifying.

This drew the attention of the three toward the insects, and for a moment, they even forgot about the equally terrifying Yang Xing.

Yang Xing's strength was indeed impressive, but the bizarre nature of the Aburame Clan's insects made them even more frightening.

"One matter is resolved, but there is another that needs to be finished quickly. Hmm, have the people arrived yet?" Shibi Aburame muttered softly, unheard by the others. He turned around and said quietly to Yang Xing: "Yang Xing, right? You lot can head back now. I have other business."

His gaze revealed his trust in Yang Xing.

Seeing that the man had no intention of returning with them, Yang Xing asked in confusion: "What about you, Uncle?"

"Besides these few, there are others from the Water Flow Clan still around. I intend to gather some of my clansmen and wipe them all out," Shibi Aburame said with a serious expression.

"Then good luck." Yang Xing had no desire to continue fooling around; his rewards were what mattered most. He waved a hand dismissively, letting Shibi Aburame depart: "Also, don't forget what you promised me. See you when we get back to Konoha."

Shibi Aburame walked slowly into the distance without looking back.

Once Shibi Aburame had left.

The attention of the three others shifted back to Yang Xing.

Anko spoke up first, clearly surprised by Yang Xing's final remark: "A promise? What kind of promise?"

"A small matter, just a small matter." Yang Xing chuckled, changing the subject: "Alright, let's not linger here any longer. We should head back quickly."

The mission was completed simply, and with no time to spare, Yang Xing was in quite a good mood.

At the very least, Rin Nohara rarely saw this guy in such high spirits.

Without further questioning, the three followed behind Yang Xing, retracing their steps along the original path.

Deep in the woods, on the road back.

Although they had been scolded a few times by the female jonin instructor, it was nothing serious; she hadn't lectured them too harshly.

Upon learning that the remaining members of the Water Flow Clan were to be handed over to Shibi Aburame, she didn't hesitate and immediately led Yang Xing and the others back.

The bees of the Water Flow Clan were clearly the key to this mission, and once informed of this, she had to notify the Fourth Hokage and the Third Hokage as soon as possible.

In short, the mission could be considered a complete success.

The group began their journey back to the long-missed Konoha.

The return trip was long, yet relatively safe.

The entire journey remained calm and uneventful.
