Kidnapping Tsunade

Orochimaru bit his finger and swiftly formed the Hand Seals: Boar, Dog, Rooster, Monkey, and Ram.

"Summoning Technique: Manda!"

A giant python covered in purple stripes appeared on the ground. Feng Yao tossed Naruto aside and leaped onto its back.

Manda was Orochimaru's favorite summoning beast. It was incredibly fast and had immense offensive power.

Manda glanced around and said arrogantly, "So we're facing Tsunade, one of the Sannin, this time. Hmph. Don't forget, I want a hundred living sacrifices afterward, Orochimaru."

"Heh heh, don't worry, Manda. Just don't kill her outright. I still have a use for her."

Orochimaru made sure to remind Manda. All Feng Yao had done was to bring Tsunade back with him.

Manda opened its enormous jaws and lunged straight at Tsunade.

Tsunade had completely released her Yin Seal, unleashing all the chakra stored within it. Her speed and attack power increased.

"Ninja Art: Creation Rebirth—Strength of a Hundred Technique!"

This was an ultimate combat-oriented Medical Ninjutsu that combined Creation Rebirth with the Strength of a Hundred Technique.

When activated, the seal spread across her body. The moment she was injured, it triggered continuous, rapid, automatic regeneration without disrupting her attacks.

Its drawback was that the healing was automatic and uncontrollable, and it consumed far more chakra than ordinary Medical Ninjutsu. Even minor injuries were regenerated, though those could have been treated with regular Medical Ninjutsu—or left alone for a while.

Like Creation Rebirth, using the technique also shortened her lifespan.

She braced one hand against Manda's upper jaw and gripped one of its fangs with the other. It was a clash between her monstrous strength and a summoned beast.

Tsunade was forced back hundreds of steps before she steadied herself. She drew back her right hand, charged up, and punched Manda more than ten meters away.

Katsuyu greeted Tsunade, then noticed Feng Yao atop Manda's head.

Feng Yao looked at Katsuyu helplessly. "Lady Katsuyu, I didn't expect you'd be summoned after all. I came to ask Tsunade for help with something, but she refused. So now we're fighting. Sorry—someone might get hurt."

"W-wait, what's this all about? Why can't you talk it out?" Katsuyu was flustered. It didn't want to fight either Feng Yao or Tsunade.

Tsunade was also surprised that Katsuyu knew Feng Yao. "Katsuyu, I don't know how you two met, but I can't agree to what he's asking. I hope you'll help me."

A giant toad about the same size as Manda landed on the battlefield. It was Gamabunta, smoking a pipe and carrying a short sword at its waist—short, at least, for a toad of its size.

Gamabunta took a puff and said, "What's this? Is today some kind of old friends' reunion?"

The Sannin had gathered once again. Shizune jumped over to Tsunade's side, while the four Iwa Ninja brought Kabuto to Feng Yao and Orochimaru.

Dan Katō had run out of chakra, and Kabuto had returned to normal.

"I'm sorry, Lord Feng Yao. Lord Orochimaru was out of line just now."

Kabuto was the first to apologize for being controlled by the enemy during the fight. Feng Yao shook his head to show that he didn't mind.

Even he hadn't expected that to happen.

Standing beside Feng Yao, Orochimaru lowered his voice. "Things are getting rather troublesome, Yao. How about I hold Jiraiya off while you take the chance to pull Tsunade into the Kamui Dimension?"

Feng Yao glanced at Orochimaru. "No need. Someone's always going to get in my way. I'll just beat them all half to death and take Tsunade with me." He then looked at the few remaining Iwa Ninja, none of whom were much of a threat. "I don't need their strength either."

As he spoke, he formed the Hand Seals: Rat, Ox, Monkey, Tiger, Dragon, and Boar.

"Impure World Reincarnation: Release!"

White beams shot out of the Impure World Reincarnation bodies, and their souls returned to the Pure Land.

"Big sister, you looked coolest when you said you were the Sixth Hokage!"

Before Nawaki's soul left, he turned and gave Tsunade a thumbs-up.

Tsunade's eyes brimmed with tears as she thought, Nawaki, I'll carry on your legacy and become a good Hokage!

Chakra began to gather rapidly inside Feng Yao.

Seeing this, the system seemed to understand what Feng Yao was thinking. "Is the host planning to use that technique? You probably don't have enough chakra yet."

"That's right, but I'll have enough soon."

As he spoke, Feng Yao pulled out a handful of Military Ration Pills. They were a medicine used in the shinobi world to restore stamina and chakra while increasing one's chakra limit. Kiba and Kabuto had used them before.

Feng Yao stuffed them into his mouth. His chakra quickly recovered, but his limit barely increased. Perhaps the pills worked much better on people with lower strength.

I still don't have enough chakra to use that technique. Feng Yao summoned another beast.

"Summoning Technique: Spirit Ghost!"

Two of Feng Yao's summoning beasts had been killed by Danzo last time, and they hadn't yet been revived in the Underworld, so he couldn't summon all five.

Spirit Ghost extended its tentacles and wrapped them around Orochimaru. Orochimaru jumped in surprise. Feng Yao said, "Don't worry. I'm just borrowing some of your chakra."

As soon as he finished speaking, Orochimaru's chakra was rapidly drained and transferred to Feng Yao.

Feng Yao began forming Hand Seals. He planned to use a technique he had drawn from the system against his enemies, but he was still short on chakra, so he could only borrow some from Orochimaru.

After a dazzling flurry of Hand Seals, tens of thousands of illusory figures suddenly appeared behind Feng Yao.

Feng Yao slowly moved the giant hand in front of himself. His chakra was running low, so he had Spirit Ghost extend its tentacles and drain Tsunade's chakra, transferring it to him.

Tsunade's chakra was almost entirely drained in a short time.

Her body began to feel heavy, and soon she passed out. The mark of the Strength of a Hundred Technique faded, while Feng Yao recovered.

He released the Myriad Self Great Hand Seal and caught Tsunade as she fell.

Tsunade hadn't agreed to his request, but Feng Yao had his own way of making her comply.

With his goal accomplished, the Kamui Vortex appeared in Feng Yao's right eye. He swept himself, Orochimaru, and the others inside, preparing to retreat.

"Feng Yao, stop right there! Leave Tsunade behind!"

Jiraiya charged over with a Rasengan in his hand, but he was too far away, and his injuries were severe.

He reached them only seconds after they had disappeared. Furious, he slammed the Rasengan into the ground, kicking up clouds of dust.

He hadn't managed to win back the friend he'd loved in his youth, and now, in middle age, he hadn't been able to protect the woman he loved. Jiraiya felt consumed by guilt.

"Lord Jiraiya, please calm down. We should check on Naruto first."

Shizune was deeply worried about Tsunade being kidnapped too, but judging by their enemy's words, he probably wouldn't harm her. That meant they still had a chance to rescue her. For now, their priority was treating the wounded, including Jiraiya.

Jiraiya could only push his guilt aside for the moment and go check on Naruto.
